Mizuno Wave Tornado 8 = Aerobic Bliss
I bought these after a LONG search for the perfect aerobic shoes. For the past several years I have worn Nike Free trainers, and my feet have paid the price. My feet hurt when I even look at the Nike's. Just purchased these and I have worn them only for 2 workouts, one being high impact step, and the other circuit training with lots of lunges. The lateral support in these are the best I have had in a shoe. They are light weight, very flexible, supportive and cushioned. Hard to find all these traits in a shoe these days. I have higher arches and under pronate because of it. I am so glad I found these. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a more supportive, cushioned shoe for aerobics, plyos, kick box, etc. I did order up as others suggested. Fit is perfect. A bonus is these have vents in the bottom and really do keep your feet cooler. (I wear a 9, ordered these in 9.5) I can't wait to go jump around some more!

Had to send it back
My daughter has been wearing Mizuno volleyball shoes for the last 4 years, totally 8 seasons of volleyball. She absolutely loved the Wave Tornado 7 shoe that we bought last fall. Needing a new pair due to a tear in the fabric, she was sure that the Wave Tornado 8 would be the "one". However, after wearing them for one month they were killing her feet. She didn't want to believe it, but wore her old Tornado 7's and no foot pain. Thankfully Amazon is letting us return the shoe and we have already ordered another Mizuno to replace it. Hopefully the Wave Bolt 2 lives up to the reviews and if not we will be purchasing another pair of the Tornado 7's.I will say that Mizuno has always been true to size and width and this is only the 3rd pair of Mizuno shoes entering the 9th season of volleyball. My daughter is very competitive and plays the back row and some all around for school and her club teams.Great shoe company overall

This is an excellent and awesome shoes
This is an excellent and awesome shoes. I would have given it 5 stars but my daughter is somewhat irritated on the outer area near the ankle. There is a small bump on both sides from the design that is causing some irritation. It is a very small bump when you feel it but after hours of volleyball, my daughter would get irritated by it. This is a design issue where the materials are seamed together in this area. We are now considering thicker socks or a slip-on brace.

Comfortable, Extremely Breathable
I wear a 9 in Asics volleyball shoes; I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. These Mizunos fit perfectly in a 9.5 and are just a tad wider than the Asics, which is great for me. They are incredibly well ventilated, with a mesh top and vents along the bottom. They are comfortable and supportive. Time will tell how durable they are - I have only had them for a week. I didn't buy them for the looks, but have received several compliments on the design of the shoes, too.

Jury is still out
I've only worn my new shoes for one match so I have definitely NOT made a decision on them yet. They seemed to ease a bit as the match wore on and I really like the traction. They do feel "stiff" though and I think I may replace the insoles with Super Feet for a bit more cushion. Otherwise I think I'm going to enjoy these shoes once I break them in a bit better. They are far better than my previous shoes which irritated a "achilles tendon" issue I have!

Shoe heel came apart
This shoe runs 1 size small so we ordered for that. Please note this was bought for the school volleyball season and the heal has come apart on one shoe and the other is doing it as well. This was sad since this is the team shoes and the season is not done. Amazon's return policyI can't see where it has anything for manufacture warranty/ defect. So disappointed in that, She has been happy with the shoe until this.

bottom fell apart
My daughter has always wore mizuno volleyball shoes and they usually last through high school season and club. Not this pair the bottom near the heal area fell off 3 weeks before the high school season was finished. I was disapointed as she had only used them for 2 club tournaments and almost all of HS season. Should have lasted longer. She is a back row player. she also has got size 9 in all the other pairs but had to get 8 1/2 in these.
