Neat toy for younger kids.
Very colorful and lots of fun. The planes fly well but they don't go very far. The toy will be loved by younger kids, say 3 - 6, but older ones will quickly tire of it. It is a simply, good looking toy that kids will like.

Hours of fun for the kids
After unpacking and attaching everything together (minimal), the kids played for hours this weekend with these planes. They're fun, safe, and easily transportable.

Fun for kids!
My kids had fun assembling this and putting on the stickers. They enjoy trying to shoot them as far as possible!

A lot of fun but they don't fly very far
These are pretty cool planes with an easy to use launcher, the kids absolutely love them. They are very easy to assemble and this is half the fun for the kids as they also come with stickers so that they can custom decorate each plane as they like. The quality is what you would expect, they will break if stepped on by the kids during their excitement to chase after the planes after firing, but they seem to be ok if you take a little caution with them. The lights and the landing gear wheels on the plane are the kicker, it just brings so much more to the design of the toy. The plane rarely lands on it's wheels and while the lights are not that bright and certainly don't represent any kind of definable light show, they do light up which brings even more excitement for the kids, although I really can't see being outside in the dark as the best time to be playing with these planes. While the instructions do list that you can alter the flight path of the planes by positioning the tail fin forward or backward, the effects are not that dramatic and it is highly unlikely your kids will have the patience to play around with this option. Our 5 year old can load the plane and fire the launcher on his own, but it's recommended you stay close so he doesn't decide to fire it at another kid or person. The planes really do not fly that far, maybe 15 to 20' at the best of times and the wind plays a big part in that. But I certainly would not use this toy in the house unless you have lots of room. All in all the features of this toy which are 3 planes, custom decorations, launcher, built in lights and landing wheels … then the fun of assembly, decorating and flying it hit all the key points, I do think the price is worth the overall fun your kids will have with the planes and launcher.

Small but mighty
Each kit comes with three planes (red, orange and blue). Colour-coordinated stickers are supplied which can be applied to each plane but it is okay if you mix and match instead of following what they recommend or leaving the stickers off completely. The planes are SUPER easy to put together as you simply slide a wing or tail section through pre-existing slots on each plane. The planes have two “flying modes” which are parallel (straight) and rotate (non-straight). The modes depend on how the tail section is inserted. Install the tail section with the curve upward for parallel and install the tail section with the curve downward for rotate. The planes are a decent size being just over a foot long and a couple of inches over a foot in width. Be forewarned, these planes can travel quickly and quite far when launched (up to 49 feet) so make sure there is a decent distance to launch into and don’t point them towards people, sidewalks, streets or trees. The launcher issue… instinct tells you to put the plane on the launcher and to then pull the plane back until it locks into place which does work but is difficult and can cause you to struggle. What you should do is pull the launcher back (the piece that is underneath the gun that slides from the front to the back) and then put the plane on the top of the gun, secure it/lock it in place and then press the trigger to launch it on its merry way. It might take you a couple of tries to get the hang of this but it is infinitely easier than the “instinctual” way of locking and launching.Kids will enjoy having competitions to see who can make their plane travel furthest or aiming to land their plane on a target such as a towel or small blanket. There are flashing lights in the cockpit and a line of lights along the top of the plane and these are especially nice when flying the plane in the evenings when it is darker.

Very fun but be careful!!
The box came with one launch gun, 3 planes with their corresponding wings and stickers! The lights on the orange plane did not turn on but the blue and red plane lights were really exciting! The planes are foam material so very lightweight and has a great flight! This toy is NOT intended for any child under 6 years of age as each plane has 3 very small button cell batteries so extremely dangerous if a child swallows it. The battery compartment is not very secure either so you will either need to reinforce it with a much stronger adhesive or take out the lights and batteries all together.Within 1 hour, the kids managed to open one of the planes batteries and so I had to quickly dispose them!Without the lights the plane work perfectly fine and my kids are super happy playing with the planes! An awesome fun play time for the indoor and outdoor!

Very fun play time! Not for kids under 6!
The planes came well packed with one launch gun!The orange plane’s lights were problematic but the red and blue plane’s lights were great! After a while all the planes lights stopped working. The planes are made of styrofoam material so extremely lightweight and no chance of injury for the kids! However, since each plane comes with 3 tiny button cell batteries, the toy is not suitable for any child under 6.With an hour of play my kids managed to open the batteries because the storage is in the front window part of the plane. It is very easy to open as its just glued on.So if you have very young kids, they can still enjoy this toy, just make sure to remove all the batteries or reinforce the compartment with a super strong adhesive.I just removed the lights as well, because they just stopped working anyways.Overall, awesome toy! Great for parties, backyard playtime and indoor play too!
