This tool is Awesome.
Im a contractor/handyman l have rented the battery tool like this before but it costs almost as much to rent as it does to buy and I was skeptical about the pressure. Would it be tight enough on the fittings? Well I decided to buy the tool it’s amazing it’s very heavy very well-made. You’re not gonna damage his tooling in anyway it did the job I had like 15 fittings to put on it pushes very hard to get it together at the end because they want you to do a full cycle. I did it as hard as I possibly could with it just in my hands not pushing against the floor like I did with some of the parts you can pre-make I got it all together turn the water on didn’t have one leak tool is amazing. I would recommend this tool to anybody that does plumbing handiwork fast easy but it takes a lot of pressure to put it together at the end. I will state that but in your mind you really don’t need that much pressure. If you can close it the last squeeze it’s not gonna leak I would buy this tool again in a heartbeat. Once you realize how much pressure you really need and not going to leak it actually doesn’t need as much pressure as you can force on it. It works great. For the money it’s well worth it.

Best money spent in along time!
I re-pipped my boiler using this crimping tool.Quaility is great and performed flawless.I saved over 3K buying this crimping tool compared to the battery operated crimping toolHighly recommend.

The tool is definitely worth the price.
This Pro Press worked well, my advice is when using it make sure you pump it up until it goes no more, then you know that it is fully crimped, to remove just loosen the hydraulic screw and give a slight twist to remove from fitting. It’s manual verses powered which is more expensive. In my opinion this item gets the job done and it’s worth the price!

Not as neat a crimp as expensive battery operated crimplers.
I wanted this because the professional powered ProPress crimpers start at a cost of 10x as much.The first thing I noticed is that there's oil everywhere.Then I noticed that the valve seems to be marked backwards. ON is off and OFF is on. Once I figured that out the tool was fairly easy to use. The listing on Amazon says:"The head can be rotated up to 360 degrees, making it easy to use in any position. " This does NOT appear to be true and there's nothing in the manual that says that. So beware of that.The crimp seems solid but it's no nearly as nice as the commercial duty machines.Still I am pleased by it.

The battery operated ones are way too expensive.
I took a chance on this item with low expectations and I was shocked at how well this product is made. Even the case is beefy and holds up well. It comes with three sizes (1/2”, 3/4”, and 1”), a pipe cutter similar to one I had as an apprentice in the 80’s. A deburring tool (not amazing) and instructions. I knew what I was cutting (1/2” copper) and bought the fittings I needed prior. I spent more time cutting and cleaning the pipe than using the tool. Everything has held up well.
