Fedele's Chocolates - Fudge (16 oz.) (Penuche Walnut)

I have had a taste for vanilla fudge since very young (I don't like chocolate, yes it's true). I also have a very strong sense of taste, meaning I don't just "eat" food & I'm done. Flavors are very important to me & every ingredient that goes into anything I eat is discernable to my taste buds. I thought I had found a great quality vanilla fudge until I tried this one. Yes I know it's actually Penuche, though to me it equates to the perfect vanilla fudge. It's smooth, not grainy at all. As you let it sit on the tongue you can taste the quality cream & butter used. Cane sugar instead of corn syrup. The tastes are profound & perfectly mixed, it reveals old fashioned hand made quality (unlike today's rushed, processed, & inferior 'cheaper' ingredients). Beware though, it is HIGHLY addictive!!

Note: The nuts you see in picture, is not what you get. 1lb fudge should have 1 cup of walnuts. They put some on top but there's hardly any inside. Hope they improve this because it's flavor, etc is good.Arrived quickly and packed well. It's fresh, smooth and creamy and I'm glad the weather cooled a bit.The flavor is good though I'd prefer a tad more salt.So far it's the best I've tried on Amazon!

I love good fudge. I keep buying some whenever I see a fudge store. But most of it is disappointing. This was great - arrived on the early end of the delivery window, and has a fantastic smooth texture and perfect penuche flavor. I'm really glad it's available without nuts, since I don't want nuts getting between me and my fudge. When I bought it, I got free standard shipping, and this worked fine; maybe its shipping characteristics have changed since other reviews.

I was so happy when I received this fudge. I bought it for myself. :) Nothing wrong with a woman, or whoever, buying themselves chocolates. :D It's really yummy. Quite sweet, but not overly. I look forward to ordering more of it. Before receiving this fudge, I hadn't eaten any fudge in over 20 years! So, this was an awesome treat! You gotta try it!

Excellent fudge in my opinion. Worth the price and calories. Perfect texture, good amount of walnuts distributed evenly throughout. Nicely wrapped and shipped quickly. It had to travel all the way down South in the summer yet was in perfect condition upon arrival. If you're going to give in to temptation it should be with a quality product like this.

There wasn't anything I didn't love about this fudge. It's my favorite flavor, and I hadn't had it since I was a very young girl. I'm 74 now, so obviously it's been awhile. Just yummy. I very seldom post a review. I had to for this fudge.

Very disappointed. I love fudge. This isn't creamy. Kind of dry and I taste more sugar than chocolate. Unfortunately, this item isn't returnable.
