Thick plastic. Used it as a pull out shelf on a custom poker table.

I bought 2 of these to fit inside an impact-resistant case. I needed a travel case for chips that could withstand the weight of my chips, which are 13 grams each. As you can see, this tray also has two rows for smaller, quarter-sized tokens. I use Pachislo slot machine tokens in those rows, which can be used for side cash games, or as drink tokens, etc. Pachislo tokens are easily found on ebay.

I had these before so I was just hoping that it was the same...and it was...so I'm happy!

Seems to be very sturdy. Only complaint is it’s not flat on the bottom, it’s made to be inserted to a card table.
