Works perfectly! Easy replacement & zero installation, just drop it in.
Works perfectly! Easy replacement & zero installation, just drop it in. push to seal and push again to drain. It is also a breeze to pull up and clean everything that it has managed to trap. It is now part of my regular cleaning schedule; pull up & have a look to see if it needs to be cleaned out, which takes seconds to do, if required. It is so good, I'm going to buy more for the rest of the sinks!

Sturdy metal construction but parts that go in the drain pipe are a bit sharp
Sturdy metal construction. Nice finish. The popup plug has a nice action. The popup plug is smaller than the drain plug It is replacing but it has to be because the assembly retrofits inside the existing drain pipe. The flange does a good job of covering the existing sink drain flange. There are extra seals included to accommodate various diameters of drain pipe. The only caution is the openings in the bottom of the assembly where the water exits are rough and sharp! I cut my finger during installation. The Sharp openings are hidden once installed but are hard to avoid touching if you have to switch out one of the included seals. A quick bit of deburing during manufacturing would have taken off the Sharp edges. Sharp edges aside, this is a good product for the price.

Just What I Needed
Months ago, I pulled the drain stopper out of my bathroom sink for cleaning. I left it out because it takes a major effort to reinstall it. I looked for an easier solution and came across this item. It works better than what I had before. It offers the added advantage of trapping hair and small debris that would clog the drain. I looked at the specifications for the two models offered. I chose this one based on the dimensions of the drain opening. The one I bought fits perfectly. I am pleased with my purchase.

Does the job inexpensively
Really easy to use and holds the water in the basin well but the fit is kind of loosey goosey. It spins easily when in place because there is no seal to keep the face plate seated in one place. It also doesn't look as nice as the original stopper piece. It feels very thin and kind of cheap. The use of this device causes the water to drain out more slowly than previously. Again, it works but you get what you pay for.

Easy to use and clean!
We now have these in two bathroom sinks and they are great replacements for problematic stoppers. They are easy to drop in and pull out when needed, and the push button mechanism works well. They definitely trap hair, I just wish they were easier to disassemble or otherwise get the hair and crud out of, rather than just having to pull it in tangled clumps. One sink has a flatter bottom and it doesn't really stop the drain fully, but the other has a little divot the drain is set into and it works perfectly.

While very easy to install and keep clean, there isn't a way to secure it without glue
My very old basement bathroom sink lever for the drain broke. Instead of re-installing it, I took it apart, and installed this universal pop up drain. Takes 2min to install, and does it's job.I haven't had any leaks, it looks quality made, and works with an easy push of the top. My only concern is that nothing secures it in place, and it can easily be moved around. This really isn't an issue outside of the fact that it should have come with an adhesive in my opinion. I'm going to find a water proof epoxy or something semi-permanent to help secure it to the base of the sink. Overall, a great purchase, and can't believe how easy it was to install and use.
