Likeable, complex characters who may stuggle with life's challenges and their own faith. The plot was good and kept me going until the murderer was revealed. I look forward to reading all the books in the series.

Great mystery. A bit of faith without over doing it. The writing kept me engaged and reading. If you enjoy mysteries without all the gore then this book is a must-read. I've already purchased the next book.

Christie’s stories are always non-stop action, hard to out down, and enjoyable reads.The main characters were bit likable and misunderstood due to their own pasts. Andi was a proud of being hard to like, sassy, harsh, and a man hater for the most part. She softens towards the end. Don’t expect any romance. There is only a softening and mutual respect that develops between Duke and Andi, a hope of something deeper but neither is ready to give up their pasts.When all is said and done this is a very enjoyable novel worth reading.

What a great thriller mystery! I agree this is one book I found difficult to put down. The characters are well developed, the story runs smoothly, and kept my interest throughout. A very good book to read.

Loved the mystery and suspense,not overly gory, great characters . Christian without being overly religious or pious. Want to read more of these!

Great characters, good setting, interesting plot.... not predictable but kept you guessing. Interested in checking out more and getting answers that weren't given this time around.

This was a couldn't put down story for me. I liked the characters and the pace of the story was very good. There were a few twists that added to the suspense.

What an excellent start to a new series. Loved it. Looking forward to the next one due out in September!

It was a good read however, the scriptures were used inappropriately. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading few of the other books.
