Untrustworthy - Disables UAC
The product itself appears well made, the display quality is good, that's it for the good parts.Now the negatives:* Included USB cable doesn't work, when connected to an external power source it powers on ok but it has no data so cannot communicate with your PC, it's a charging only cable. - Replacement cable fixes this.* Software is not included, you must visit a sketchy Chinese website which tells you that your connection has issues unless you use a VPN. Once downloaded and virus scanned comes back with no issues.* Once installed and run for the first time you'll get a warning (see pictures) that you must restart your PC to disable UAC (User Account Control), if you check the UAC settings, you'll find UAC has been disabled.Note: UAC is that pop-up you'll get when installing new applications or running certain applications that require elevated permissions to work. With UAC disabled, applications like this *could* install whatever it wants in the background and you'll never know, this could be ransomware, viruses, trojans, malware, keyloggers, literally anything it wants.So with this in mind, it's back in the box, it's going to be returned, software removed, currently running an in-depth virus scan and preparing for potentially reinstalling Windows entirely on the PC I tested it on.I've tried other software that normally works with these displays, I've not found any that are compatible.I still want one of these, but not this one, the software raises too many questions.

Would advice against
Did turn on with power however when connected to the pc causes motherboard to go straight to bios and wouldn’t boot so doesn’t work at all

This would not hold settings at all and I have used these before.There are a few different ones but won’t buy this one again.

Device doesn't power on with cable provided or alternative cables. PC does not register device.
