HALOESF WiZ Smart Non-Motion Security Flood Light, 180-Watt Equivalent 2400 Lumens Black

This is a review of "HALO ESF WiZ Smart Non-Motion Security Flood Light, 180-Watt Equivalent 2400 Lumens Black ".This light was really easy to install following the included instructions. The app install and configuration was easy and quick. The app allows for all kinds of manipulation of the light; more than I will ever use! You can tweak the brightness and color of the light, set up different lighting schedules and dynamic routines, included daily on/off and or color patterns. The app includes loads of pre-configured scenes you can select to provide just the right lighting for your situation. You can also manually remotely control the light from the app from anywhere.If provides plenty of light where I installed it on the side of my house. The light is as bright or brighter than the old incandescent lights it replaced.The only thing I wish it had was a light sensor so it could be set to be on from dusk to dawn; the same effect could actually be accomplished with a routine in the app if the developers would take up that challenge. It could check the internet for sun down/sun up times for the registered area and automatically turn on and off as needed. That would be nice, but it doesn't exist just yet.

So I didn't read this properly and thought I had configured this wrong when it did not sense my figure. Turns out this is the non-motion light so that's on me lol. Since it is non-motion I had to install the app to configure this thing.This light is actually a lot smaller than it looks but because it is 2400 lumens it is still very bright. The black finish matches with the outside of my condo and it is pretty seamless when drilling into the wall.Anyways back to the app, the app does let you schedule timing, color, etc. It can integrate with google and alexa but I was not able to do it in the "new" app. I had to download "legacy" for the integration to work. I don't know why but I knocked a star off for that reason. Their support is also non-existent so if you have trouble with this device good luck trying to resolve it.I'm glad this device came with the hardware for mounting and the instructions were clear for installation. Overall, this is a good light but I do wish that it came with sensors so I don't have to set timings for it.

After checking out all of it’s cool features, I chose to get this HALO ESF WiZ Smart Non-Motion Flood Light for our back porch, and it’s really awesome!With tons of color & dimming options, which can all be controlled through the WiZ app, right on your phone via wifi.Installation was simple; took my husband about 10 minutes, and we now have a incredibly fun light to use while we are entertaining on our back porch and in our back yard.COOL light - highly recommend!!

Goes up easy and is quite bright. Wasn't expecting it to pack as much punch as it did! App is a bit basic but it functions.Keep in mind that this is the NON-MOTION version when you're purchasing. Price is slightly high for a non-motion flood light but it functions as it should.

Finally had a chance to install this and it was so easy. Took about 15-20 minutes if you know what you’re doing. While the light functions well and looks great; I love that you can move the lights in many directions to aim where you need, the best part of this is the smart app function! It’s the best part!! The app can do different lights (warm or cool tone), and has different options to access them with or without the app. It also has different settings for fading in and out and other ways to use the light cleverly. I love this addition!

This does not have motion sensing, was gonna come here and give a 3 star review but I now see the title indeed does say NON-MOTION. So... if you read this review then please understand this does not have motion sensing, if that's what you need do not get this.Overall this is a pretty good quality flood light, the app finds device really surprisingly easy and connect the device to your wifi pretty fast. The app also give you a wide range of controls over the light including color brightness and also scheduling it to adjust the light, all of it works and works well, kudos on the nice app.I did have a bit of trouble installing because of the ground wire lug, I naturally thought you'd pull the ground wire through the center slot of the back plate and secure it to the nut. However, that is the wrong thing to do, because the light has a back bracket that needs to be "plugged" snuggly into the back plate, and the ground wire will prevent that if you pull it through the center like all the other wires. I installed after sunset so couldn't see well and it took me a while to realize why I couldn't tighten the screws. Once installed though it went smoothly.

I worked on this light for hours and could not get it or the app to function properly. I kept getting an unknown error message followed by please try again. When I finally got the light to illuminate I was very disappointed in the lumen output. Then when I finally got a color it was half of the white light lumens. At this price point, I'm extremely disappointed. I can't find one redeeming thing about this light. Come on HALO you're better than this!!!
