The Story of China With Michael Wood

DEEPEN AND EXPAND YOUR AWARENESS. LOVE THIS AND THE APPROACH. YOU ARE RIGHT THERE EVEN THOUGH THERE IS SO MUCH HISTORY COVERING CENTURIES. MADE US WANT TO GO TO CHINA ASAP.

I think this is basically historically accurate . I enjoyed the graphics and it made good use of already made media and movies. The viewer should be aware of this and take it for what it is.... entertainment .

A six episode very broad overview of over three thousand years of Chinese history. If you are looking for a specific era of history or a particular Dynasty, then this is not for you. A relatively straight forward introduction to a complex subject.

This was excellent. I learned things I never knew. The narrative and the visuals were outstanding. I hope they have a sequel up to the present day.

Is really interesting. Did not know hardly anything about China. Our world history taught here needs vast improvement.

I did not experience any playback issues with the Blu-Ray discs.Excellent series on the history of China.

Michael Wood, you did one terrific job in this project. Very concise and digestible.

It was definitely a great documentary. Another fine piece of work from Michael Wood. I have another one of his documentaries on blu-ray, "The Story of India", which is superb.But, like I said, this blu-ray release of "The Story of China" is defective. And I'm hearing that I'm not the only one recognizing and complaining about this.When the camera pans across a scene, it is very choppy and not smooth. It's hard on the eyes and within just half an hour, I was already getting a headache.Unfortunately, I cannot watch the rest of this blu-ray release. It's making me dizzy and sick.But, I will end my verbal contribution to this release by saying that I hope they recognize the defect and re-issue it again.And also, I hope someday, Michael Wood would do a documentary on "The Story of Thailand."
