I guess the item itself might be okay, but the first step according to the unit is to finish setup - language, etc. is to do that on your computer. Using the USB connection, my PC doesn't even see it. Going to the website to see if there's an ap to download or other help is a colossal waste of time. YouTube has no useful videos. Whoever writes their documentation needs to be studied looking for any signs of intellegrnce. Buy this at your own risk unless you're already experienced with these things.

I don’t have much experience with this or devices like this yet but I’ve run all the battery and charge system tests and can say this is very simple to use. I’ve also plugged into the port on my Tacoma and and run through many of the functions and tests and am amazed at the level of detail this scanner provides. Now I need to learn what it all means - some I know, some I don’t. I also want to try the battery tests on the deep cycle battery system in my trailer - haven’t done that yet. I feel like this thing could be worth its weight in gold. Great item, very useful for the DIYer and the pro alike I'm sure. Very good directions too. Well written, easy to follow. I’m a fan - get one, you will be too.
