Very good investment
Best investment I've ever made. With covid-19 shutting everything down, I couldn't fullfil my promise of taking my daughter to get her ears pierced. A few websites recommend the Stud-x 75 system so I decided to try it. It's very easy to use and there's videos from Stud-x that help you feel more confident in using it. Piercing her ears was super easy and she reported very little pain.

Love it! Dont listen to bad reviews!
Ok so i read the reviews and i was surprised it got such bad feedback. ppl need to read and follow direction it clearly states that earring cartages are sold SEPARATELY. Secondly This is an amazing product i pierced my daughters ears without any issues. These are the sAme guns used at claires icing piercing pagoda etc.. U mark the ear.. U load the gun , give it a good tight push and the cartiage opens up and there u have ear is pierced without an issue and no loud " bang" sound.

I bought this thinking it would be painful or difficult
I had not worn earrings for several years, and one hole had closed. I bought this thinking it would be painful or difficult. It wasn't difficult, and it was much less painful than the original piercing had been. I was glad I bought the kit, and would happily recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to pay to get their ears repierced.

Right tool in the wrong hands will still fail. For home use, spring-loaded is better.
It is what it is. The fundamental flaw with this approach is that most people will use it poorly and cause unnecessary pain. I understand why it was designed this way for "guaranteed" (yeah right) sanitary use, but there is nothing difficult about sanitizing equipment and studs for manual piercing or for use in the old-fashioned spring loaded guns - which work much better IMO. The basic problem is that the kids that work the piercing booth at the mall are not properly trained and they really don't care one way or the other.I only purchased this in case my daughter decided she wanted to use studs that were only available in this style. Otherwise, I always use a spring loaded gun or a piercing needle. Pneumatic would be even better (super fast and virtually painless), but no one seems to make one (or one that I would consider using)... I guess I should make it :-)

Decent piercing gun
I like that this gun is very simple to use. But it does seem to have some issues with certain ear piercing cartridges. I used this to pierce my 10 month old daughters and a couple of my nieces ears and every time I used it this with my cartridges they jammed up. I’m not sure if it was just the cartridges brand but I bought two different brands and it still jammed every other piercing. But for the price I guess it’s not the worse product I have tried but I think I would go with a spring loaded gun versus this one.

Did not receive the kit
This is not the product shown… I ordered the stuffed 75 kit and all I received was the piercing instrument re-wrapped in clear plastic… no marking pen and no way for me to know this product has not been used by someone else before… this is false advertisement in the worst way… Will definitely return this and find the instrument elsewhere…

Great product and so convenient!
So easy and quick! My ears had started closing up because I didn't wear earrings once I had retired and stayed home all the time. Two minutes and my ears were open again and barely noticed the actual piercing. Great product!

Piece of junk!
I used this exactly as directed - the result: a misplaced hole in my damn ear! Unbelievable. I'm so irritated right now it's not even funny. Normally I would have just used it but I decided to follow instructions word for word AND use this stupid marker which I actually cleaned off twice to make sure I had the exact spot desired. You need to use a lot of force once you are piercing your ear. I felt the resistance and applied more pressure and the damn thing injected an earring (which wasn't the issue and is a great product sold by another seller) that was placed 1/8 of an inch below the marked area. A waste of money, pain and now I have a hole on an area I didn't want it on. Maybe others won't notice but I will and pretty pissed off.
