Nice & Cool
I bring these out in the field with me as it has been a scorching summer this year. The towels are soft and I love the colors. I grab one, wet it, put it in the pouch and bring it with me. The carabiner lets me clip it onto my belt loop so it's easy to carry. Not sure why it works, but it certainly does help cool me down.

Nice set of cooling towels
The set of cooling towels is a nice set with beautiful colors. The towels absorb water and do the trick of giving you a cooling sensation. They wash well and dry quickly. They come with a plastic pouch and carabiner, which are both usable.

Works well to cool you off
You need to use cold water for best results. Soak the towel, wring and shake it out & use. They stay older longer than regular towels. They are perfect for the summer heat. I like that each towel has a carrying pack as well.

They do work
Edit: I took two of these towels on my 4 mile daily walk. Halfway through, I took the unused one out the pouch and gave it a tug, and the towel got cool. I've done this for several days now and the second towel gets as cool as first one does when I put it on at the house at the beginning of my walk. I'm glad I got these and this set of eight towels, 8 pouches and 8 carabiners make this brand a great buy. The variety of colors lets me coordinate the towels with my walking clothes.I tried three different neck fans for my daily walk and all they did was blow the hot air that surrounded me onto my neck and face. I did some research on cooling towels and while the jury is still out on its effectiveness, have one on cools me better than not having one on. That said, for the price this set is a steal. It not only came with 8 towels, in different colors, great for assigning to family members, but it also came with 8 pouches and carabiners. This allowed me to wear one and keep another one attached to my water bottle and swapping out towels halfway to my destination. That said, having anything on your body that is cooler than the air around you will give you a cool sensation. The pouches and carabiners, I think, sets it apart from other cooling towels I've used. Wrapping it around my neck felt like a scarf though and I wasn't getting the full effect of the moist towel so I draped it around my neck like a shawl and tucked the ends inside my shirt. This way I enjoyed the full benefit of the dampened towel, and it didn't get my shirt any wetter than sweat does, so while it's no magic air conditioning towel, it does give the benefit of feeling cooling than the hot air I walk in. I'll make it part of my walking wardrobe.

Just snap
These are incredible. You get them wet and snap them when you want to the cooling feature to cool again. You can put it in the fridge to help keep them even cooler or just rinse with cool water. They’re a great size and lightweight.

Very nice cooling towels
These cooling towels works very well with good looking color. They are in a practical length size, and they use very soft material with nice touch and feels very comfortable. I really like the individual carrying package with clip so I could just clip them on my carry bag or gym bag depends on where I am going and using them. They are nice and practical cooling towels.

Good travel towels!
I’m unsure about the actual cooling factor but these are good towels for travel and I especially like the carry case with the clip! I often bring a towel when I paint outdoors and these will be perfect!

Damp cloth maintains coolness?
How much the cooling effect is down to the material is up for debates (or laboratory tests). If you soak it in water, squeeze out excess water, what is left is a damp piece of cloth. This will either be hot if we used hot water to soak it (not a good idea), or it will be cold / cool since that's the temperature water used for soaking. That's the first part. The part is as you use it, how is the "cool" maintained? I have used this over a 6-hour walk with various stops in between. I used one towel for about 5 hours. It was outdoor, countryside / beach walk, so it was not that hot, about 24-25C, but cloudy with some direct sun. The towel remained damp for about 2.5 hours, and the remaining of the 5 hours, it didn't not get warm. Yes, I have stretched it several times, and each time, there was more coolness. For the last hour, I switched to another towel, that had been in the pouch, already damp. It remained damp from the pouch. And the coolness was good.Anything that is relatively lower temperature to the body will likely result in us feeling cool, our brain might pick up such a signal so the result is a damp cloth give us coolness. It's probably that this kind of towel (and material) prolongs the coolness, or prolongs the dampness that then maintains the coolness, that gives this characteristic. There is a level of "expectation" that it gives us coolness, that's psychology I suppose. There is probably enough of comparison between a "normal" towel, and this towel, being treated in the same way, and which hold holds dampness longer, and therefore gives coolness longer. For me, I will use this on the basis that the material is light. In a way, using a normal towel and wet it, will be a rather odd thing to do when it looks more like a person with a bath towel around his neck. I have used it several times in door, and the coolness last about 2.5 hours.I have not used in bright hot direct sun light, but I have so far used it once in a gym session. From that gym session, I came away thinking I had much less sweat than using a normal towel, by about 20%.Since these towels cost about the same (or lower) as a "normal" towel at comparable size dimension, it's another reason that this is a better choice. It is far lighter and thinner. On top of all that, the colours are bonus.I will use these fairly regularly so might have updates in a few weeks.
