Great for its intended purpose. Very simple device for measuring the tire tread depth on your own.

Keep in glove box. Cheap to buy, easy carry, come in useful occasionally. I now compare tread depths across each tire when doing the 7500 mile rotation. Can give an early clue as to alignment or bushing wear

This tire pressure checker tool, is very small, good quality, very light in weight and, functions well. It is very easy and straight forward to use. It is easy to ready the tire 32nd thread left, and looks durable if you take care of it. The tool has a small pocket clip, so you can just hook it to your belt, or a clipboard, or simply put it on your toolbox or car glovebox.I decided to get this, because getting new tires is not cheap these days, and I want to use my tires as much as possible until is really time to change, vs the tire shop telling me I should change my tires when I probably got a few more months left of safe threads on my tire (safe I mean where when checking with the tool is still on the green mark, barely getting to yellow mark). It comes with 2 of these, so I keep one at home and one in the car, very convenient.

It's very clever how the wear graduation is "color coded." -- perfect for me.

This is such a simple tool but yet it's great. There is no need to guess the tread depth. In just a second I have the information. Tires are expensive so knowing how much tread remains is very helpful. I definitely recommend this tool.
