It was so fun and relatively easy. I will say the yarn isn't the best of quality. I've been crocheting for a little while now and I believe that the yarn would probably be a little difficult to work with for a complete beginner. Other than that the kit is truly great.

This kit had everything I needed except a hot glue gun (but the hobby store had one for $3). There was plenty of yarn so it was fine that I made some mistakes. I forgot everything I knew about crochet and this kit did a good job of teaching me again. The videos did a good job demonstrating techniques and I wouldn’t have finished without them, so definitely watch and work along with the videos! I’m pleasantly surprised this actually looked like the picture too! One thing I wasn’t a fan of was hot gluing all the flowers onto the stem, I wanted the back to look good too so I left longer tails on all the petals and I “sewed” them together and onto the stems (see photo of back). I did use hot glue to connect the buds to the wire, though. I think it turned out great! :)

I kept this for months before starting because I could not figure out the instructions as I am a pretty fresh beginner - I finally found their YouTube channel (DIY Handicrafts) that goes by each step on how to do this and it helped so much. At times, it was very frustrating because either the yarn was splitting on me or I just couldn’t do something because it was hard for me. It took me almost a month to finish working on it basically every evening and I learned a lot & I really enjoyed making this! I think it is a good buy, it gives you plenty of yarn and the tools to make it, you just need a hot glue gun. I recommend

I have been crocheting for over 40 years bought his pattern because my mother loves strawberries. I had problems not with crocheting it but having to go to video to locate things that were missing in the pattern. Others may not have a problem with that but me when there is a pattern I believe that there will be mistakes yes but when things are missing in general no.I gave it 4 stars only because I loved the strawberry pot after I made it. I however got tired to the video that other things that was missing I used my owe Idea how to handle the problem.

The yarn for this kit is similar to other affordable beginner kits, but that doesn't even bother me. This kit includes SO MUCH. There are two booklets included; One is your pattern, but the other is helpful information and explanations for stitches! This is INCREDIBLY helpful for beginners. The hooks included are nice too. One of them is a standard 2.5mm I believe, that I received in another beginner kit from a different brand, BUT the second hook is double sided! I don't know why but I LOVE this; I didn't have the tiny sizes before and now I have them for my arsenal.Again, I haven't tried the patterns yet, and I will update this as I do, but for $10 this kit is PERFECT. I hate to throw shade but you could get three of these for the same price as ONE Woobles kit. The yarn being small and prone to unraveling can be challenging, but honestly that may be really helpful to learn how to handle as a beginner. I purchased the strawberry plant but I'm coming back for more :)
