Good for introducing a harmonica to a beginner.
I was impressed with the sound for the price. It responds well to soft blow as well. Not bad considering the price.

Best Music Blues
Very good quality Harmonica, love the tone. We used this for Operation Christmas Child Boxes - kids will love it and there is plenty of room for other gifts in the shoebox.

A Harmonious Addition to Family Fun
Do you need the constant sound of a two-year-old enthusiastically breathing in and out of the same center part of a harmonica without rhythm or any effort to change tune? Then this harmonica is definitely for you!The SWAN Blues C Key 10 Hole 20 Tone Diatonic Harmonica is not just an instrument—it’s a gateway to endless entertainment and a few head-splitting moments. When you wipe it off and play “Oh Susanna” like the badass musician you are, you’ll feel on top of the world. It’s easy to hide when your head is about to explode, yet it’s truly a great learning instrument as the kids age and become more capable. This harmonica is durable, beginner-friendly, and brings both joy and a bit of chaos to our household. It’s made of stainless steel silver, ensuring it can withstand the enthusiastic play of little hands. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition for anyone looking to introduce music to their kids or relive their own musical aspirations.

Great start to harmonica for me
This was the first harmonica I picked up about a month and change ago. I ran into the common issue of the 2 draw which led me to wonder if it was the harmonica itself - it wasn't. I picked a Fender C and had the same issue. With a month of practice I have the problem solved on most days. However there is a difference between the two.The Swan has a more muffled noise to it, it lacks the sharp, fuzzy sound the Fender does and sounds noticeably quieter and duller. It's as if the holes have a bit of debris on them or are actually dulled, and this isn't something that was fixed by rinsing it.That said, it's still a wonderful harp for the price. I still use it regularly as I don't want to leave it out of practice. But it's proof that, for this at least, the price did make a difference. I'd like to try a Hohner Special 20 C to see if that's worth it's reputation over the Fender as well. However, the Swan C is still good.
