It is fairly easy to assemble it can be done with just one person. I assembled 98 percent of this on my own. I had help to hold up posts while I connected the posts. Also the roof tiles just to save time. The roof tiles are a challenge to get them lined up but once they are lined up and bolted, they feel very solid. It took me two days to assemble but the first day I started at around 5pm.

We love this gazebo. We love the appearance of this. Great value for the $$. It took 2 people 3 days to put it together and the biggest complaint is that there are no written instructions just pictures.

We looked for this type of awning for a while and decided on this on. Price is great, materials are ok. Directions are a bit confusing, and you really need to pay attention to the diagrams. Some pre-drilled holes don't line up correctly on the roof panels. Took a lot longer to assemble, could have saved time doing a pre-assembly of some of the pieces. The slide on pieces for the roof panels were aggravating as the kept coming off. Overall, great looking awning for the money. Would buy it again.

I’m very pleased with my purchase, great value for the money. The structure is sound, solid, heavy and looks great in appearance. It fit great on my back porch. It took us over 12 plus hours to put together, over a few days. I’d recommended having a good ladder, drill and at least two people and pack your patience!

Let's start with all the positives. I am fairly impressed with how well-designed it is. Seems to be structured well with good support in all the key locations. It was well packaged for shipment. Although the boxes had some holes and bruises, the parts were well protected, only the most minor of dents that were very easy to re-shape. Bottom-line...it's very sturdy and looks great!There is only one negative, if you can call it that. Unless you have a team of four this will take you the better part of two days to put together. I tried to see how fare i could get on my own, but there are just some points where you will find it is impossible not to lean on someone else for help. For those parts, my wife was more than adequately able to assist, so long as it meant getting her new gazebo done ;) There are no written descriptions of each step in the instructions, only pictures. Read the once, read them twice, and read them again to make sure you understand what you need to do and you should be fine. To be clear, the building of this is not hard, it's just tedious.Tip 1: If you are working mostly by yourself like i did, when it comes to installing the roof, you may find that it is best to move through the instructions by section of roof. The instruction book will show you how to do the whole thing at once, but if you take a section and move through the 4-5 instruction pages a section at a time, then cycle back for each successive section, you will find getting some of the hardware installed will be easier. Tip 2: For the frame, get all your screws together "finger tight" then go back and tighten them all when your frame is complete. Same with the roof. do most everything finger tight and then go back around and tighten them all at the end. Then, have beer and a well-deserved rest in your new backyard oasis. Enjoy!

Took my hubby a while to put together, with my help occasionally. Assembly was a bear, but things lined up, lots & lots of parts. But I love it. Does seem a little wobbly, even after the roof was installed, which we hoped would make it sturdier. It's probably just fine, I have a phobia about storms, since we were in a tornado last year, I'm sure it's fine. Just finally got curtains and netting put up, found there's an issue with the ties & velcro to pull curtains to the posts, ties & tie back are out of position, can't use them or it pulls it away from being able to zip the netting. I'll have to take them off and sew them back in correct position.

The parts did not go together smoothly due to the excessive powder coating on some of the threads. Some of the parts were bent and had to be straightened causing marks and damaging the finish on the material. The parts are not all marked! In addition, the assembly instructions are not clear and lack detail. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you’re willing to rework parts. The seller is hard to locate, poor responsiveness and could care less if you have issues with the product. They will make every excuse under the sun to not provide a refund. Do NOT buy this product

Beside needing 2 or 3 people to assemble portions of this it went together without major issues. Make sure you have at least 2 people to install the roof panels. Solidly built with nice support. Will add additional support for the roof for snow load. Looks like it can take a fair amount but we get 1-3 feet sometimes. Would recommend this gazebo to others.

Overall very nice unit and easy to set up. The only finding on the negative side is that the support posts "corner posts" were not as sturdy as I had expected. Recommend they change them out for a square sturdier post.The other items which has nothing to do with the gazebo, the screen which was included in the order had a small tear in one of the panels.

During assembly I found that one roof panel had its holes off alignment by about 2 inches. So far the roof is incomplete. Hopefully mellcom sends me the correct panel so it can be completed. As of 2024-09-03

We get the required shade we expected. The one item we notice that the advertisment said was the rain flowing away down the ends. This does not happen - the rain flows over all the sides as one would expect from a flat roof. A small inconvenience as the gazebo is very well constructed and sturdy - relatively easy to instal as the instructions are indeed very clear. It took 2 of us to build the frame in about 5 hours - the roof took us another 4 hours and this time there were 4 of us.

This was installed by my husband and neighbour within 4 hours...quite spacious and easy to assemble. Heavy boxes mind you but overall excellent value!
