As soon as I saw this Lilmon 5, I wanted to get it because it checked so many boxes to me. 1. I can change the opacity when enable aspect ratio. 2. The cross in the center is small not too large like other monitor 3. HDMI output behind the monitor not on the side. 4. Touchscreen to adjust the brightness is a huge plus 5. I ran the monitor thru v-mount battery and under 105F, yes the monitor was extremely hot but never shut off. I was impressed 🙌

I love everything about this monitor but I wish the built quality was a little better. The plastic just feels super cheap. I have used portkeys monitors before and even though they're also made from plastic but the built quality feels so much more nicer. Do I recommend this monitor? Absolutely!

I'm really enjoying this monitor! It has amazing functionality (Pages system is a must for those who use multiple camaras). I really like how it looks and feels (It has all the ports that I need). Display is really nice with lovely colors and can be used easily outside (1000 nits is a giant plus). Plus the touch functinality is pretty intuitive.

Man, this is a GREAT monitor! Excellent screen and tons of features! It is slightly slow to start up but it still gets a 5 rating from me. It is small enough to keep on my cameras while I am walking around with the talent on a location shoot.

Great features, great build quality, nice and bright, touch screen, nearly everything is perfect. I purchased a smallrig coldshoe adapter hinge, it's better than the one that comes with it. My only gripe is that it will drain the battery if you leave it attached. It takes about 2.5 days to drain my F570 battery fully. I've tried multiple batteries and it's done the same on all of them. It killed one that I left attached for a week. I could never charge that one again. Besides this one issue it's perfect but I'd prefer it didn't have this issue. I'm not sure if it was just my unit with this issue or all of them.

LOGO FLASHES WON'T TURN ON -THE SOLUTION So, I got it the first time and could not always get it to work. I sent it back with great customer service and got another one, but the same issue was happening: the logo would flash but not turn on. Finally, my friend and I figured out that you can only hold the button for 2 seconds, then let go and wait. It will turn on every time, but if you hold it like some other thing, it WILL NOT WORK! Just a minor bug I have found. I could also not update the firmware on this thing using a Fat32 2 gig card. Nothing I did worked. so if you have any suggestions for that, let me know. Customer service has been great. They shipped me a new one, and I returned the old one. So, 10/10 to them! All in all, I am happy with it and will continue to use it, but I wanted to share my findings because there was no other information on this, and since both of my copies did the same thing, I wanted to share.

Helps me not have to mess with the build in display on my camera, super useful nice and bright!

Using this monitor for 1,5 years and what I want to say - it is amazing. Tried it in many different conditions - super bright sun, cold at -30 everywhere it shows best results, like the top monitors in the industry. It is super bright - so you will see everything, no color shifting, amazing functionality. In this monitor you have everything you need for comfort shooting. Totally recommend

Great monitor, but one thing I don't like about it is that at the bottom, it doesnt have a standard ARRI / monitor mount. So whatever monitor mounting accessories you have, won't really work with it and you are stuck using the stock hot/cold shoe bracket.

Just so everyone is aware it does not come with a HDMI cable. One Will have to be purchased separately. Does not come with battery so make sure you add one to the cart too! Product arrived when it said it would. Touch screen works great, functions as it should. User friendly and connect very easier with my GH5

I've been looking for an on camera monitor for quite some time and had a hard time convincing myself to shell out big coin for a big brand monitor or live with the subpar performance of other brands. As I mostly shoot outdoor brightness and colour reproduction outside was extremely important. After reading some reviews I picked up the Osee LILMON 5 and as soon as I opened the box and turned on the monitor my first reaction was, wow this is a beautiful screen and for the price it honestly can't be beat. The build quality is great, it has a whack load of feature that have helped me nail focus and exposure and although I haven't tried it, it has an option to load LUTS (bonus) and it uses NPF batteries which I already had for some of my lights. The most important bit is that it works and looks great, I haven't been this excited for a smaller gear purchase for a long time, definitely something that will help elevate my final product and make my life easier in the process. I no longer have to tell my clients, the clip will look better on a bigger screen (as I try to show them some footage off the back of the camera), the one's I showed it to were impressed and ended walking away happy. I highly recommend this monitor and am considering picking up another 1 or 2 for my B and C cam's.
