Great value, wow.
OBVIOUS choice for an upstart.I am saving to add a second one to my system.Big enough sound to bring a level of bass to a 2000 sq foot room. I have the SA 15 speakers, powered by a pyle 1500 amp, and this was a perfect match for that system. I would call the SA budget build system a killer house party setup, a great gym system and a pretty okay event system. It would rattle the heck out of your house for sure. Build quality is solid, and sound quality is decent. If your not getting paid some serious bux for bringing your kit, then this will be fine.I rate this 5 stars because I would say the quality vs. value level is very high. Yes, I'm sure there are better sounding powered subwoofers, and I am sure there are louder ones, but nothing is free folks, for this price it is hard to imagine a better solution than the baby Tremor.I pushed this sub for 6 hours straight, then 10 hours straight at the fringe of it's clipping limits and it did not let me down, no noticeable heat or compromise.Audiophiles.. not an audiophile's solution. I am not sure why anyone would think a budget powered sub would deliver audiophile quality. If your picky sound guy don't be cheap and go spend 2k and get a sub.

I bought one of these can use on a karaoke system. I got it hooked up and it worked perfectly. I use it as a standalone subwoofer I do not use it to power my other speakers. I went to use it again for the second time and I got a really bad Buzz and it went through the whole system I unplugged it and it went away so I was thinking that the amp had gone out. I called the company and they help me test subwoofer with a 9 volt battery that test it out good. So the technician said he would send me out and you amplifier. It was a week later and I called to see where the amplifier was because it had not arrived. The man I talked to on the phone asked me what the problem was with the amplifier I told him what was going on he asked me how I had it hooked up. I went and got the cables that I used to hook it up and it was at this point I realized I had the wrong cables. I hooked up the right cables again and it works flawlessly and has worked every since I do not blame the company for this I blame myself. This is a very good piece of equipment it sounds good and I would recommend it.

Good sound for a 15" - what drew me in initially was the price. Upon testing this sub out (I'm a DJ) the only negative appears to be the volume. I hit peak on this sub with the volume a quarter of the way up, and the frequency range about a third of the way up - so it just doesn't get as loud as I like. However, adding a second might be the way to go.Pros: great, amazing sub for house parties, and good volume. Little to no discernable noise using not the best PA setup.Cons: can't turn the volume up past a quarter of the way or you hit peak/limit.Good sub, would recommend.

Awesome Bass!
This speaker is phenomenal and does exactly what I wanted it to. I use it in my garage when my kids are playing out front so we can listen to tunes. I have it connected to a Sony receiver and use two Pioneer tower speakers for highs and mid range. The ohm selector is an excellent feature to change the ohm's depending on the music style. The separate volume control is a huge advantage and allows me to set the music to the type so it always sounds great.

This subwoofer definitely bumps
I bought this to use for gigs and parties as a DJ. I use this subwoofer in combination with the Alphasonik 2800W active PA system for all my gigs and it meets all my needs. I DJ primarily hip-hop/rap and EDM (mainly dubstep/riddim), which are arguably two of the most bass heavy genres, and this subwoofer delivers. I've thrown a lot at it in the 4 months that I've owned it and it still performs great. I love that it has a built in amplifier so I don't need an external amp or mixer for my setup because the Alphasonik PA system I use also has a built in amplifier. It's definitely not the most portable subwoofer but it's not hard to transport and it feels lighter than it looks. I DJ primarily house parties and get togethers with my friends and they love the bass that this subwoofer delivers, it'll definitely shake some walls. When I had this in my college apartment I actually got a note from our neighbors two floors below us saying that they could literally feel the music I was playing. Happy with this purchase, and I'm definitely considering getting another one soon.
