This cable wire cutter works great. I work in a crossdock shipping yard and they cut the cable seals with ease. This thing is compact so you can carry it in your pocket (pants, vest, shirt), it has a little slip lock that keeps the mouth closed when not in use so it isn't expanded/open in your pocket. In my experience it does not require a lot of force to operate it. The mouth/teeth/cutting area was sharp out of the box and continues to be so. Not sure what else needs to be said other than this has been a sturdy addition to the tools I need to do my job and it you need something to cut cable seals/locks off of your trailers then this is the tool you should get.

Works like a charm. It size belies how well it works cutting through cable seals. I drive a truck for a living and I use this to cut the seals that use cable in the seals. This tool cuts through small cable easily.

I was removing a bunch of hanging fluorescent light fixtures hung with stranded galvanized steel cable. My bolt cutters were having an impossible time cutting the cables so I needed something better. These inexpensive cutters did the trick. They effortlessly cut the cables that I estimate were between 1/16 to 3/32 diameter, making the job fast and easy. Totally unexpected given the price. I would definitely buy these again.

Works great as expected but as expected the flip lock no longer functions. But it's chill not a big deal bcni have a spot for it.

Good item

Works good for cutting the steel cable seals I work with in the trucking industry. Only down side is the little lock that keeps it closed. It's not aligned well and you have to push down on it and let the pressure of the spring keep it held but if it gets bumped it comes unhooked real easy.

En mi trabajo tengo que realizar cortes de alambre acerado trenzado y algunos días la pinza ha tendio que dar unos 20-30 cortes diarios y sin problema han seguido funcionando, posiblemente con un uso más reducido sean eternas y el gran "detalle" sea el engomado del mango que se nota no es muy bueno pero las mías siguen intactas.
