This unit delivers impressive functionality for the price point (I paid around $75 with the add-on audio filter, explained later). The wide, low-profile screen is easy to see over and doesn’t obstruct your driving view like some bulkier models. Screen resolution is good for this class, but very usable even from the side. Think budget tablet quality, and you're in the right range.One standout feature is the camera setup. The dash cam works well, and the rear camera is one of the easiest to install on the market. It can operate as a continuous rear-view monitor without wiring it to your reverse lights, which is super convenient. That said, I did wire it to the reverse lightbulb’s positive terminal to enable the full-screen backup mode with safety guidelines — and that install was quick and painless once I located the wire. I recommend you to do so. Based on other's review, I decided to install the rear-camera inside the hatchback window, and it actually works pretty good.However, the monitor bracket design is a letdown. The bracket sits quite low and only offers limited tilt adjustment, so the front camera always captures part of your dashboard no matter how you angle it. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely a compromise in design.That said, there are a few annoyances, mostly around audio:As for audio, it’s where this unit falls a bit short:1. No External USB: Just provides a Mini-SD card slot that records your videos. You can't have a USB drive for playing the saved music.2. FM Mode: Full of static and interference, especially in populated areas. And when you start your car up, this "private FM channel" will serve you 100% noise until it gets connected to the FM signal, which may take 40 sec or more.3. Bluetooth Audio: Slightly better but still introduces background hiss or noise.4. AUX Input: Should be the cleanest, but it suffers from a strong ground loop hum. I prefer AUX for sound quality, so I contacted the manufacturer. They recommend buying a $9 AUX audio filter, which should fix it — but it’s an extra expense that really should’ve been included or addressed up front. Oh my God guys if you are looking for an CarPlay screen for your car that does not have CarPlay. This little screen is going to be your best friend. We installed it last night because we got it yesterday and my husband is obsessed with it. He loves it. It automatically connects to your phone when you turn on the car you don’t even have to go back and do all those things again. What was tricky is the FM transmitter that was a little bit tricky for us we did spend a couple times Trying to get it right but overall it is a great product the cameras outstanding it’s like the cameras came with the vehicle, but they didn’t and it was just. It’s an amazing product for the price. It’s a steal It really is a steal

If you leave in a hot place like Florida don't buy it.... It will peel off with the heat and in my case it ripped off a piece of my dashboard. Also it doesn't gives you the date stamp of the recording,.Really bad quality! I couldn't get a refund this happened after the 30 days. Amazon should be more accountable for items like this....

It's an excellent unit for the price and I like the wide angle dashcam. The unit hasn't had any issues connecting to Android Auto. There's a lot of settings including the recording quality of the dashcam. If youwant full resolution you need to select the 2.5k setting manually. It looks to be set up for more storage space initially not quality of recordings. I got the unit and set it up before mounting it in my car. That's when I found an issue with the included sticky pad for the mount. I contacted customer service via the company website and was sent a replacement pad. Was very easy and customer service was extremely quick to respond. Thanks Mia for the assistance and replacement mounting pad.

I really liked all the features and my friends started buying this camera too.But today I noticed that backup camera screws and metal started rusting in just four months. Still winter is not here in michigan. I am sure it will break soon in snow.It should be rust proof as other parts of car. I will not recommend this to buy anymore.
