Q: i have a Nibco Classic Pro #90 frostproof sillcock water hose valve. Will this kit work? Appears in photo same.

It did not work for me. I had a Nibco #90 and my house was built in 1991. Though the package says it fits, no, it doesn't. Just a bit too big and can't be screwed in. Had to return the part to the seller. Yet I found the solution: just replace the o-rings instead. I found them in Ace Hardware, only 48 cents. :-)

No, you do not.Just unscrew the cap is it is of the threaded type or just pry off the cap and drop in the repair pieces in the right order and correct orientation. Just snap on the new cap even if the old cap was of the threaded type.

Q: Do you know if this fits a Fumar faucet?

John, my faucet is a Nibco and they no longer make the vacuum breaker for the faucet. I had called Nibco and they told me it should work...chanced it and replaced the vacuum breaker on all three Of my outdoor faucets! I couldn't be happier. Try to call the manufacturer and see if they can help you. Otherwise it's a great price to get and try it!

Q: What is the diameter of the male end that attaches to the spigot?

The diameter is about 3/4" of an inch. the tread pitch is alittle smaller than a 1/2" pipe nipple. N.P.T. about 16 per inch. hope this helps.
