ECCO Men's Soft VII Oxford

Very comfortable shoes.. can wear them all day my feet feel good..

I have been buying this shoe every year for the past five or six years. At this point, my family recognizes them and would know exactly what they look like if I asked. It has honestly become my signature look. I absolutely love them. The design is perfect with the white bottom, black leather, shiny lace hoops, and waxed laces. Closer to the one year mark, after wearing them regularly, the black leather starts to show wear and the shoes begin to look used. That is usually when I order a new pair, but I never throw out the old ones. I keep them as my do anything shoes. If I need to wash the car or go to the park, I wear the older pair since I do not worry about getting them dirty. The newest pair is reserved for going out or wearing to the office. I usually retire a pair completely after about two years. For me, they are durable enough to last a year or more depending on how hard I use them. The white part tends to discolor sooner than I would like, but I included pictures to show what that looks like. Some marks are just on the surface and can be cleaned off. This is the only reason I would like to rate them a 4.5 stars. These are the only shoes I wear because they are extremely comfortable. They are the only pair I have found that does not make the bottom of my feet hurt when standing for long periods. One thing to note is they do squeak on tile or other hard floors, probably because the grip is so strong. I really hope these never get discontinued. Ecco made a high top version once that I also loved.

The sneakers are great, but I would be careful getting them from Amazon. It looks like they already have wear and tear before I tried them on.

Very comfortable and stylish. Quality is excellent and they’re very comfortable walking shoes. Fit is great.

Great style and comfort

Can't go wrong with ECCO. Comfy and sporty. I buy one size larger and use a different gel insert. I have nerve damage in my toes and this toe box gives me some extra room.

Updated review: I changed from 3 to 1 star. I cannot break them in - I can’t wear them for any period of time without my feet just killing. On top of all this a with little wear time - the sole has come apart. One inch from the toes now has come in glued. Ecco’s are a do not buy unless you can give them a try in store. …….. The shoes look good….unfortunately end of the benefit of the costly Ecco shoes. They are so uncomfortable - kill my feet. I have been trying to break them in - not working. No padding on the tongue - and flat souls. I would not plan to walk far in these!

I have several (3) versions of these ECCO shoes. Two are exactly the same style, just a different color. All fit really well right out of the box. This one however was very tight, not in length, but width. I have a very narrow foot, so never worried about size. I figured I would try to break them in and try to stretch them out. The last several times I have worn them, I used my thinnest socks. Even tried relacing them. They got a little better, but not fully comfortable. OK for just hanging out or sitting for dinner or reading. But not for out walking around, or even just going to the mall. Seems like I will never be able to wear them for any active outings, and now they are too used to send them back. It was too good to be true that these were $40 cheaper than the other colors. When I went back to check on different widths, there were none available. When I asked Rufus, the reply was this particular color (blue) runs extra narrow. Be careful if you buy this shoe! I'm very disappointed.
