I decided to get this muzzle since my very sweet XL bully has an issue with one of my family members after being harassed. The muzzle is great because your fur baby will not be able to bite anyone or anything. They have the ability to drink but I don't recommend leaving this device on all day. Since it is a metal material, if you have glass doors or tile floors there will be a loud clanking sound when the muzzle makes contact with it.This is great for temporary use: a few hours, taking a walk, greeting people and pets, going to the vet, etc..Sizing up may be the safe route if your dog has a big head like mine. I ordered an extra large and it fit perfectly.

!st of all, it is a bit large for my pit bull mix. I threaded a bandanna through the bottom to make it more snug. He does not try to dodge when putting it on but he does roll around in the dirt where we go to the hills to let him run, sliding his face along, trying to dislodge it. So it is somewhat ackwardly, attached to a collar, to keep it on him. It is sturdy but he has rubbed off some of the finish. I can still give him a treat, he can get a drink of water, both good. He is a sweet boy but he would try to chew up old carcasses and scattered bones left behind by hunters (this is western Colorado). No more barfing or diarrhea! No more vet bills for gut infections! No more keeping my eye on him every second!

This is the third muscle I have tried for my pitbull Pyrenees mix. It is a fantastic fit. I do wish that it had a vegan leather option available as I hate putting the flesh of an animal on my dogs face.

Trimming Hoppers nails and putting his ear drops in his ears. Was hoping it will work with his licking issues as well. I've only just recieved it so that is yet to be seen.

I've ordered two of the muzzles and both came broken. The first muzzle looked used. The head strap wwas missing and it looked chewed. I exchanged it for same muzzle. The second muzzle came with the wires on muzzle itself were broken with jagged metal. Don't waste your time or money on this muzzle.

This didn't really fit my Pitt's face. It was the only one he couldn't get off, however, in trying, he abraded his face so badly it never healed. After trying for a week, and adding padding, had to give up on using this. It was causing too much damage to his face. It would be better if it was shaped correctly for their heads or more adjustable. The straps were way too big, and also too complicated.The metal did prevent my dog from eating things, which was why we wanted it.

I got this for my 1 year old 56 pound pitbull. She's very sweet but I wanted to make sure I had something just in case since she's a big dog and a breed with a reputation. She's got a really wide chunky head so I was a bit on the fence about getting something that would fit her. Once I finagled the straps it fits pretty well but if you have a squirmy dog it's a bit hard to put on. We're working with muzzle training to get her used to it but at these initial stages getting it buckled is still a bit of a struggle. It fits her head pretty nicely and she can still get treats from my hand through it and it's messy but she can drink. She wouldn't be able to open her mouth enough to properly pant so I wouldn't really use it if it was too hot outside or if she was going to exercise.

I purchases this for my dog who is reactive to other dogs.First day of wear this happened.I can't understand why the design would not use one solid strab of leather.Very disappointed and disheartening as the use of a proper muzzle may be the make or break for this poor dog's future.

Fits perfectly and is lighrweight and comfortable. Isn't loud like some muzzles and has room to move his mouth and pant, able to give treats through wire. Will be buying again to get another different colour strap to match his harnesses. Quick delivery, great service and a muzzle that keeps my dog safe.
