Much nicer than I was expecting. The metal is well polished; that with the handle make it a very attractive addition to my Capresso machine. As others have stated, there's a bit of adjustment from the pressurized filters. The mess some have noted seems to be when I used coffee that was not ground fine enough. I found I could get around 19 grams in and pull shots with no mess, and unlike the pressurized basket the puck is dry and easy to knock out. I removed the handle before my first cup and found a VERY chunky split lock washer; I don't expect the handle to loosen during use. I've only had it for a week so can't speak to longevity, only time will tell.

Better than expected, exactly what I needed.A big step up from the pressurized basket that came with it.Be warned though if you don’t know what you’re getting into you will be disappointed.You need a good grinder to adjust your grind size this is way more difficult than I thought. This porta filter works great and fits perfectly on a Mr. coffee espresso machine. It has a nice solid feel to it and is a quality build. One small nitpick is that the wooden handle sometimes slightly unscrews from the metal port filter, but it tightens right down again. It is quite easy to use and easy to pack a good puck. Howver, even when you get the puck tamped properly it can still be a tad messy compared to other porta filters, but overall I really like the results of the coffee it makes. Another small nitpick is that for whatever reason the coffee grounds stick a little bit inside the port filter when you try to knock them out. I’ve never had that happen in before. Usually, one or two knocks and the entire puck just comes out. With this porta filter, you kind of have to give it a number of really hard knocks and even then sometimes some ground will stick to the bottom. Not really that big deal but an interesting issue. Overall, I am quite pleased with this porta filter, compared to others I’ve tried.UPDATE: Both little issues have become more annoying. The puck won't knock out easily or cleanly for me. Also, the handle is a bit more annoying. I still wouldn't consider either of these to be big issues. Not enough for me to take off a star - maybe a 1/4 star ;)This is still a quality portafilter and I've enjoyed using it.

I wish I could leave more than 5 Stars, It fits my Bella Pro Barista Elite Espresso Machine PERFECTLY . I tested it out as soon as I got home and it brewed the perfect tasting double shot espresso. I highly recommend this item for anyone who has one of the following compatible espresso machines. 100/10.

It fits in my Bella barista pro but won’t pull a double shot and a single shot doesn’t pull right. It fits but doesn’t seem compatible. Good design but not compatible.

I purchased a bella PRO and desperately wanted to upgrade the original pressurized portafilter. I tried several and found this one in my search. This portafilter fits well. I just received it and haven't pulled a shot but from a previous experience with having a cheaper machine and upgrading the portafilter I have high expectations. This is a must have upgrade.

This seems very well made, It fits my Gevi espresso machine very well but it seems to take 15 grams of coffee compared to 10 grams with OEM other filters.
