We have a Dachshund, and a high bed. Dachshunds are burrowers, by nature, and no amount of discouragement can stop her from providing hot water bottle services, each night, by my wife’s feet, under the duvet. However, with their short legs - powerful as they are, relatively speaking - and long back, jumping up to heights, and landing when they miss, takes its toll on their spines. Having been warned of this, by the vet, we cast about and found this easy, lightweight and yet strong and easily cleaned solution. Now she can hop and skip up to the required height, and loves it so much, I have ordered another for our sofa - even though it’s lower (planning ahead).It’s literally life-changing for small dogs, especially where their health and wellbeing is concerned. They’re family, and we want her happy and well for as long a time as she has with us, so this is an absolute no brainer.Wonderful product, cannot recommend highly enough.I should say, it comes compressed, so don’t worry if a much smaller box arrives. It’s vacuum sealed, just break the seal and remove packaging, give it a shake and leave it a few hours, to fully decompress, and you’ll have just what you need.Make sure you order the right size, dependent upon height of couch/bed/whatever, as it comes in a variety of sizes. Ours is just as required, and a perfect top step, from which our pooch can hop onto the bed, but for a smaller dog, still, you’d need a size up.You owe it to your wee furry friend (your dog, not your partner!) to look after them and keep them healthy, active and happy. We have a terrier with cruciate ligament issues who now struggles to jump onto the sofa and bed and no amount of discouragement can stop her trying. Therefore I purchased these steps to help her get up without the need to jump and put strain on her back legs.The package was smaller than expected when received but it's vacuum packed and after breaking the seal, giving it a shake and leaving it for a couple of hours to take shape it ends up lovely and firm.The steps are also light, which makes moving them around a breeze and the cover can be easily removed for washing if needed.These steps are literally life-changing for small dogs, especially where their health and wellbeing is concerned, either because of size, age or illness.Wonderful product, cannot recommend highly enough.

Ideal to help my elderly dog get on the bed.

Our elderly cat has been having trouble gaining access to her heated pad and bed.These steps are nice and firm, with a super soft cover. She has no trouble accessing the bed now. It’s great value for money. Great choice of colours so they don’t look out of place.Washable covers, a must have with an elder cat. No slip grip on the base, so even when the dogs run and jump on it, it doesn’t move.Will likely buy more to keep the house accessible for the cat so she doesn’t need to do big jumps.

THESE STAIRS ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! WE HAVE TRIED MANY DIFFERENT DOGGY STAIRS/STEPS FOR OUR LITTLE CHIHUAHUA WHO SUFFERS WITH A LOWER BACK PROBLEM , WE USED TO LIFT HER ON AND OFF THE SETTEE UNTIL WE CAME ACROSS HUNDREDS OF DIFFERENT STAIRS AVALIABLE TO PURCHASE, WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WERE SHE FELL OFF A SET OF STAIRS WHEN SHE IT FELL SIDE WAYS ( THEY WENT STRAIGHT IN THE BIN !! ) ANOTHER SET THAT WERE LIKE PLASTIC STAIRS SHE WOULD CONSTANTLY SLIP ON THE STEPS ( ANOTHER SET IN THE BIN😡 ) SO INSTEAD OF PUTTING OUR FURBABIE THROUGH ANY MORE STRESS WE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO LIFTING HER ON AND OFF THE SETTEE AS THIS WAS THE ONLY SAFE WAY TO DO IT ....THAT WAS UNTIL A FRIEND TOLD US ABOUT THESE STAIRS AS SHE HAD PURCHASED THEM FOR HER FRENCHIE, SHE WAS VERY CONFIDENT THAT THESE WOULD BE GOOD FOR OUR LITTLE GIRL SO WE TO BROUGHT A SET ,WHAT CAN I SAY OTHER THAN THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!! Great quality product and quick delivery BUT as you can see from the Advertising photo of a large Retriever sitting on the bottom step ~ compared to our Collie Cross sitting beside the steps ~ the size difference is incredible!I know all measurements are given but surely this photograph should not be permitted to advertise the size of this product?!?At the moment our dog jumps around/over the steps rather than using them. Perseverance may pay off but it’s not quite what I expected when ordering ~ after all the description does state for small/medium/large dogs.
