The strainer broke after 4 months and the water now just streams through without steeping.

It's fine, but the strainer piece is way to small, you have steep and dispense 3 or 4 times for one cup. That's just not functional if every Steep is 4 minutes. That's 20 minutes for a cup of tea. Also lots of small parts and hard to clean. Don't lose any pieces. Glass pitcher is a decent size to use without the dispenser, just pour through a strainer.

This is a decent teapot that brews perfect tea. It's fun to see the brew in process. Only drawback is that I would need to repeat the process at least 2-3 times for 2 servings.LIKES+ Glass+ Good Brewing Function+ ValueDISLIKES- Strainer Too Small

I love this unique little tea brewer.If brewing tea at the right temp and length of brewing time is important to you, this little tea pot is for you.The strainer strains even the smallest tea leaves and stays when you drop the brew into the pot.You can only brew smaller than I'm used to at a time but it's not a deterrent.This little teapot is nice to look at and very affordable.
