I have been using these small Bringsmart gear motors for about 3 years. They are great little motors, but if something jams, the brass gears in the gearbox can be stripped. I contacted Bringsmart via email to ask if adding a 1.5A fuse (normal load <0.5A) would prevent this. Considering the time difference between the US and China, the response was very prompt, confirming that the fuse should solve my problem. These motors are inexpensive, but fuses are even cheaper. Very pleased with these motors and the customer service.

It performed well as expected, but two minor issue. First, it is a bit heavy, and second it's grease leaking out when shaft point downward. Because of grease leaking issue, I give it 4 stars.
