A kids party game that isn't terrible.
We're very experienced tabletop players in my household. I have a huge collection, primarily made up of high complexity Kickstarter exclusives. I only bought this game for a board game class I'm teaching to 7 and 8 year olds. I fully expected a typical, boring family game and was shocked at how much fun my entire family had playing it.In Dream On, you and your fellow players must construct a dream using the cards you're dealt, playing them whenever you like. There's no turn order at all, which allows players to drop cards when they're more likely to be remembered (and/or most entertaining). The memorability matters because when the timer runs out of sand (or the players run out of cards) it's time for scoring--which is entirely dependent on whether you can remember every part of the dream IN ORDER.I don't anticipate this game being fun for 3 players or less (unless you introduce more cards to the starting hands). We have five kids, so I can say that for larger groups, this game is fast, fun, and can be hilarious.I would definitely recommend this for families. Our 5-year-old picked it up immediately and I'm willing to bet our nearly 3-year-old would too (if she could sit still long enough). It's budget friendly, small footprint, has a high replay value, and is super portable, so it's a good game to toss into your bag if you think you might need to keep your kids occupied somewhere for 5-10 minutes.Normally, as a tabletop enthusiast, I loathe these kinds of games. (Give me Terraforming Mars or give me death!) Dream On surprised me by being more fun than the description lead me to believe.

A good and easy board game
It’s quite a good board game, however, it doesn’t last long for same group of ppl. Not a long lasting game, but still recommended!

Great activity for families and friends!!
I have a hard time actually calling this a game. It is more of an activity like a puzzle or patty-cake. There is not winning or losing. It is just something that is a lot of fun to do with friends and family. It is also absolutely like a dream. The story you come up with absolutely has continuity, but once you have to retell the story it has that feeling of everything being on the tip of your tongue. Especially if you tell the story really quickly and get a bunch of cards. This is great for:1. People who have kids who like to tell stories. My 5 year old daughter loves this game and tries to make everyone play it. The stories we make up are told for days after, and she asks me to tell them to her later.2. People who like to get some friends together, have a few glasses of wine, and do some activity that no one takes seriously. You can absolutely get into just trying to break your previous score, and since it only takes a few minutes to play you can just keep going until you want to do something else.3. People working on their memory. Older people in my family like this game just to keep their mind sharp. The faster you tell the story the harder it is to remember it. So, it kind of self balances for this. Also great for kids in this way.It is hard to explain how much fun this game is. It has become a new family favorite. My daughter and I will just sit down and play while we are waiting between things, and we can take it wherever easily.

Fun, quick game before bed.
Me and my fiancé are in our 30s and still enjoy playing this game. It’s fun to test our memory, make up wild stories, and then count up points at the end to see who is supreme!
