Perfect replacement for old mattress
I bought a official chicco mattress to use in my second hand chicco next 2 me magic crib as I didn't trust the safety of other options on offer on Amazon and I wasn't sure that they would come with a base. Well, this one doesn't come with base either and you have to take the base out of the old mattress and insert it into the new one. However, this isn't made clear in the instructions (it's shown in pictures but never written anywhere!) or on any of the labels or box. The mattress/crib isn't safe for newborns without the base because it would be too soft so I can't believe this isn't emphasised more.Apart from that the mattress works perfectly and I really like the new and improved 3D mesh design and the breathability and safety of it.

Condition of the box.
While the contents appear to be alright the box was ìn a bad condition. I know it was a second but the appearance of the box was off putting.
