I got 2017 GM. The FOB I use daily is grungy and all the paint wore off. A couple years ago, the Chevy Dealer wanted $275 for 1 new FOB and programming. I bought used one in good shape, and the local locksmith wanted $100 to reprogram it. Fast forward to today, I find this gem for next t nothing, and the swapping of the innards took just minutes. It is a perfect match.

Easy to swap out. Perfect fit. Works Great. Looks much better than the GM original, especially the chrome sides. I’m replacing both my fobs with this one.

This fob uses the "guts" of your original key fob. Looks nice, and quite solid. Remember, if your FOB is not working then this won't fix it! This is simply a replacement outer shell. My old fob had the icons rubbing off etc. This worked out well and did not cost a lot.

Overall the feel and looks of it are very nice. It definitely be the old worn out dirty fob that I have. Only problem that I have with this is the buttons are so touchy. I generally leave my keys in my pocket but I am constantly sitting off the alarm unlocking walking as the buttons are too easy to push. Overall I would buy again as it does fit and function it's just touchy

I bought this to replace the terribly worn case for my 2021 Chevy Colorado. This is ONLY the case. You will have to disassemble your old remote and install the circuit board into this. It's not very difficult, just take your time. There are some good videos on YouTube that show the process. NOTE: You WILL break the tabs on your old case that attach the chrome side pieces to the black plastic, rendering the old case useless. It appears that this is just the way it is molded. I was surprised to find out the chrome pieces on this case are metal! BEFORE YOU SNAP THE SIDE PIECES ON, MAKE SURE THE REMOTE WORKS! I liked this one so much, I bought a second one for the future. Also note that if you have a back piece with the Chevy "bow tie" emblem on it, you can use it on the new remote as this one has just a plain back.

After 8 years, the case for my GMC Sierra key Fob had worn through the rubber and needed replacing. This SUPALAND Key Fob was easy to install and at first glance appeared to be an exact and perfect replacement. While replacing the cover I also decided to replace the battery with a fresh new battery. All the functions of the Key Fob worked fine except I had 2 issues. I keep my keys and key fob in my pocket. This can be a stressing environment for a Key Fob however the original that came with my truck handled my pocket well for 8 years. First, the lettering wore off in the first 3 months. The bigger issue was that the lock feature of the Key Fob was continually clicking when in my pocket. As with the original GMC key Fob, the lock button is raised resulting in it easier to depress. Something is different about this case that allows the lock button to more easily depress locking the truck and folding the mirrors at will. Fortunately this does not occur with the unlock feature. After 6 months, it eventually killed the internal 3V battery. To fix, I opened the Case and using a sharp raiser blade, cut about a 1/16" of the height from the inside of the lock feature of the case. It seems to have improved it.

After 11 years of use my factory fobs had started to show signs of deterioration, so I wanted to replace them. Chose to try these to replace the covers of both of my fobs, since these covers seemed to have decent reviews. Overall opinion is favorable they do seem to be well made and of solid construction and yes they even use real metal beauty parts. There is one concern that appeared with them, the tolerances of the back plate that covers the battery do appear to be a bit on the looser side. Yes, they do connect together fine but hey do not firmly hold the O-ring in place and when closed there is a slight bulge to the cover. So I choose to not install the O-ring and the bulge in the cover was removed. Overall, I agree with the other reviews and do think for the price ( under $10 each) you can't go wrong.

great improvement over my original remote case from my 2014 Sierra. Easy install once I figured out to get the circuit board out of the original. Works just like a brand new remote. I immediately ordered another one for my spare remote that is also looking pretty decrepit. Highly recommend for the price.
