NO, definitely not, there are primarily designed for MDF and are also very good for wood.

Is thi saw any good for drilling through cement asbestos soffit board?

Haven't tried it, it rips through real wood veneered MDF fairly cleanly.. Ply etc no problems there either! Cemroc board may blunt the teeth quickly.. Hope this helps sort of.

Will this cut through veneered cupboard?

It will, but you will probably want to use a finer cutter for the veneer if your going to worried about tear out or an unsightly finish.. these bits are really good used them numerous times on really difficult thick mdf and hdf with no issues.
