Flourish Ergonomic Office Chair, PU Leather Desk Race Car Chair, Flip up Armrest Black

Tried several different chairs at Staples including the OFM racing chair and the Staples brand Torrent Manager's chair. The OFM was more comfortable and less expensive than the Torrent, but I really wanted an all pleather chair. There are many different brands on Amazon that look similar. This one was available through Prime and was roughly the same price. It's very comfortable and has all the features I want: not too soft or too firm; it easily rocks back and forth with little effort (better than the OFM); it's all pleather; arms flip up, has a high back (I'm 6'0" and the headrest rest in the curve of my neck); has decent lumbar support. I spent so much time researching these style chairs and this one fits all of my needs. The only thing I didn't get with this one was all metal arms. The arms are plastic, but they are very thick and don't feel cheap or flimsy.It took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble. Just barely screw in the screws for the arms. Once you have all the screws loosely in place, lay the chair back down flat on the floor and apply some pressure to get the bottom screw for the chair back to align correctly (you will see it). Once it is aligned, you can tighten this one all the way and then get the others. After assembly, you will need to tighten the screws again using the Allen wrench side with the most leverage (the long side). Some may need a helping hand to assemble the chair because of the issue with this screw. I've seen it mentioned in reviews for similar chairs, so these are probably manufactured in the same facility. Also, the chair has that initial chemical odor you get from plastic products (the arms , the base, the wheels). I'm assuming this will go away with time and after wiping it down like other products I've owned.UPDATE:The braces/arms are toxic. After having the chair over a week, I have developed headaches and dizziness when sitting in it and the smell has not subsided. I love the way the chair feels, but I cannot keep it as it is negatively affecting my health. It's worse than any other plastic I've come in contact with. This may be associated with the silver paint used. I'm returning it.

Very nice chair with comfort galore. One of the easiest chairs I ever purchased and assembled! Packaging and shipping time was fantast! The price supercalafragalisticexbtalidoshis and did I say the price was fantastic!!!

In less than a year, the armrests started cracking and peeling.
