We got this for our new pup. When he has been outside we cradle him on his back and wipe his paws and tummy, he is so used to it he expects it. The mitt is good sized and very absorbent. When he has got his back wet in the rain, we just wipe his back with the mitt. It's so soft he's not bothered in any way. Super easy to wash. Can't praise it enough.

This is definitely easier to use than a standard towel to dry a wriggly dog and does the job well. It's a little awkward for smaller hands as it's big and when you're moving it around, your hand does slip. I've got better quality microfibre products, but they were more expensive. I found that it did not dry the fur as I was hoping. Perhaps you need one on each hand. I have a Cavachon dog perhaps in a larger dog with longer fur it may work better.A nice looking mitt though.

I bought 2 as we have a large dog and I can honestly say this dries off the dog much more quickly and effectively than a towel. Furthermore, the dog seems to enjoy being rubbed down with these mitts and is quite happy to stand patiently rather than fidgiting and squirming when a towel was being used. I thought these washed very well on a 30c wash and have had no problem with the fabric shedding. Just one small criticism; they are really too big for my hands so they require a bit of effort to stop them from slipping off. Perhaps if a thumb had been included it would make it so much easier to keep them on.

Much easier to use on a lively dog who hates being repelled dry but I don't find it as absorbing as some microfiber towels.

My white long haired German Shepherd needs to be hosed every day due to thick mud we have to walk through to get to the equally muddy fields where he meets his friends. I have happily used microfibre towels all winter but discovering this mitt is absolutely the best thing ever, cutting the cleaning process to a few minutes with very little effort, and knocking hours off his actual drying time. I am giving one each to two of my doggy walking friends who have birthdays this week, as well as just having placed an order for another one. Delivery FOC within two days is the icing on this cake!

My dog is a small one so this thick mitt is working well when there is a pouring rain. I imagine it would work very well at all times for bigger dogs with larger paws. It is a good quality product.
