EAU62043401(EAU62043403) Replacing for LG EAU60710801 (OEM) Part

Prefect fit, easy to install. I don't remember our dishwasher being this quiet.

I probably saved myself $250.00 by buying this from Amazon and installing it myself. Install was super easy. Now dishes are clean, drain works well. Error code is gone. Wife is happy. Life is good.

Purchased this because dishwasher was not draining in normal mode. Overflowed on floor and in tank/tray that puts unit in emergency drain mode and shows a DE (drain error) looks like OE on panel. First steps are to check pump, hose and garbage disposal for blockages. This puts dishwasher in an emergency drain mode. Tray/tank must be dried out.This pump does not include the housing that connects to the drain hose. If you reuse existing housing, you must carefully remove it (without damaging o ring) and install on new pump. Best to clean and have an o ring friendly lube and use it sparingly. A consideration is to replace the o ring since you are already there. To avoid this issue, just order full assembly. I did not grade the installation negatively because my bad on research. In any case, I got through it with minimal issues. YouTube was a monumental help. NEVER work anything electrical hot (power on), ESPECIALLY around water.

Was having an OE draining error on our LG dishwasher. Replacing this motor fixed the issue immediately.

Works great but is much louder than the original. It gets the job done but almost too aggressively. I fear it may blow my Airgap apart eventually. There is also a tiny drip in line after the pump only when running. I suspect it’s from the added pressure.

Installed this a couple weeks ago and have run a few loads of dishes so far. It’s quieter and cleans better than the old one, which might have been a sign the old one was not working.Easy to install, just remember to move the gasket from the old pump to the new one. Took 2 people to twist the old pump off the housing because it was tight, but not difficult.Much better value than paying twice as much to get a new housing - just need this to replace the pump.

LG does not make their appliances owner repair friendly. The dishwasher was an absolute pain to replace the hoses and a simple pump. Will never buy LG again. Plus the pump had a small burr in the seal ring area causing leakage. Had to remove unit to find and shave off the burr. Where's the quality control?

This fixed my draining issue. My dishwasher wouldn't complete a cycle, and had water left in the bottom. My pump hadn't failed yet, but was on the way out. Pulled it out, checked the discharge line wasn't blocked, and this seemed to be the answer. Ordered, arrived the next day, swapped out and like magic it's working again like new. Saved myself a lot of money on a repair. My LG is about 3 years old now, used daily, so i'm not too upset but i'd have hoped to have it last a bit longer for the premium price paid for it. Glad this part was available, and fairly priced. Would buy again.
