I just replaced the OE Ford camera, bb5t-19g490-ae, with this one. The old camera (dealer install before I bought the car) didn't have any lines on it and only lasted about 3 years. Not sure what the lifespan is supposed to be, but I would have thought longer. This one works great, with the straight lines for reference and the lines that curve when you turn the steering wheel. I will adjust this review if it doesn't continue to perform well, but really love it so far!

Save some money...installs easy 5 min repair

I just received this camera in the mail. The price was right so I took a chance after reading the reviews. I saw one photo of a guy that had these same “do NOTHING” white lines. They are fixed in the position you see in my photo. They don’t move with the steering wheel. They’re just there and very annoying! I installed it on my 2014 Explorer Sport so I’m not taking it off to return it but buyer beware. I’ll replace it with a Ford camera when I get back from my road trip. If anyone has any ideas on how to remove them I’d appreciate you sharing.Order Update: I was contacted by the seller and they sent a replacement camera. I haven't had the opportunity to install the new one but I am assuming the "white line" issue is corrected as they said it would be. Their customer service is great. :>)
