We can't get these in Canada like in the States. They are exactly how I remembered them. Fresh, and flavourful.

Takes Me Back To My Childhood
I was talking to my sister about our childhood and the way our aunt always had sprice drops at her house when we visited. On my next visit to the grocery store I went to the candy aisle only to find that they no longer sell spice drops. A visit to a second and third grocery store ended with the same result. I know it has been 50 years since my chilhood and so much of what we enjoyed back then has gone out of fashion, but no spice drops in grocery stores? Well, thank goodness for Amazon and the products they keep available. These Spice drops by Cambie were even better than the ones I remembered from my youth. If you want an authentic spice drop then these are the ones for you. Each flavor is unique and packs a tasty punch. If you are looking for an old time treat, I recommend this candy.

Where's the taste??
Both my father and mother-in-law had spice drops in their house for family members who visited them. It was a treat for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My wife and I have continued the tradition after their passing. The Brach spice drops offered by our parents are no longer available, so we are in search of a replacement. Unfortunately, the Cambie spice drops fall very, very short of the quality we want to share with our family. The spice drops were bland in flavor and we could not discern a difference in the taste of the drops by color. (I gave a taste test to my wife and she "failed" to identify a difference in the taste by color.) They were also very "chewy" (stale??). A huge disappointment and a waste of money.
