Good for sight impaired
I got this for my 91 year old grandmother to replace one she’s had for decades. It was easy to set up for her and since she can barely see the talk feature lets her tell the time. She’s had it over a month and not a singe complaint so HUGE WIN!!

PERFECT- for those unable to access time easily - especially in the middle of night
I have DRY EYES, and it's difficult to visually acquire time during sleep - especially around 1 to 5 AM.This unit allows a sweep of the hand to acquire exact time without even opening my eyes.VERY FUNCTIONAL.AY

Stopped working after 2 months
The top button is permanently depressed, so it no longer talks. I DO NOT recommend this product!

ok but no 24 hour hour announcement
Works fine and has multiple alarms that can be set but I'm disappointed there's no way to change the hours that are announced or a 24 hour setting. The hourly announcement is only for typical business hours and I work nights. I'll be buying something else and giving this to someone who's awake during the day.

It makes lovely sounds but sometimes the spoken time is difficult to understand.I purchased it for a blind person and they were satisfied.
