Did the job and you get two!
I am constantly helping my dad scrip cable and these helped on the fiber optic cable. Some of my other wires it didn’t work; sorry I don’t really know all the technical names for different ones. I just know these arrived; had a two pack, and immediately worked to strip wire. It’s got a nice ergonomic feel in your hands so wasn’t slipping away. I would definitely order again. Budget friendly too!FYI: online purchases I try to keep rating simple. If I was in a local store and could hold and view it; 5 star would buy and take it home, one star would put it back on shelf and pick something else. #OnlyJesusSaves

Comfortable to Use & They Work
These wire strippers were able to easily strip the wire I was working on and they were easy to use. The handles were comfortable and seemed well made to last. There was 3 adjustments for various stripping depths. I can recommend this product to other users.

Definatly not bad for the price indeed
For the most part, these work pretty well. I did 12 strands each with each tool. Of the 12 strands, 8 were good to go, but on both units 4 were cut thru clean. This is not uncommon but 4 per 12 is a higher-than-normal percentage. But there we are talking major professionals who are running expensive prebuilt kits they didn't have to purchase, but rather issued. So, for the small guy, entry level, the new coming of fiber DIY home user.... these are going to be perfect. Just learn as a great practice to pull a little extra for your loop for contingency. I always pull extra no matter if fusion, mechanical, or anerobic: terminations or splices. A good habit to form.I do recommend these due to their price vs performance barrier, and I too am one of those who uses the expensive stuff, but I know the fiber world is slowly entering a new era for home users and DIY.

Very Good Fiber Optic Stripping Tool
I needed a good stripping tool for fiber optics, and this fits the bill. It’s solidly made with a comfortable grip. It has spring-loaded handles that are also locking.I tried it on some fiber optic fiber, and it worked quite well – easy, accurate cuts for stripping, and for cutting the cable and glass fiber. There are three notches for various stripping steps of fiber optic cable. The smallest is for scraping off the coating on the glass fiber. You also get an Allen wrench to make adjustments in the future.Factory adjustments aren’t accurate because the two strippers were adjusted differently. I adjusted them so both worked as they should.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, these work like they’re supposed to and they are well-made.
