You need charcoal! If you put a little bit of the Bukhoor on a red burning charcoal then you see it will smoke up and and burn which will give the fragrance

Do you have to burn this to smell the fragrance? Could i use it to fragrance my car?

Yes, you have to burn usually using smokeless coal to enjoy the aroma. No , can’t be used as car fragrance.
