Works really good for me!
Once you learn how to fully work this thing it definitely serves its purpose and it's not hard to use. I use it all the time. Video requires a wifi connection and I use my phone's hotspot. When I don't use streaming video, I just let it auto connect to bluetooth for wireless Apple CarPlay (which my car didn't have). The video for me works really good. When I need it, I just turn the phone's hotspot on for it to connect to. Occasionally, I do need to go into the settings screen of the device and reconnect the hotspot, but that just takes a few seconds. It even has picture-in-picture where an Apple Car Play app (map, phone, etc.) is running full screen, with the streaming video in small video (in the lower right portion of the screen).

Worked (slow) at first and eventually became a complete waste.
The idea of this product is amazing and I bought it specifically for streaming video in the car. But the reality of this product is a massive disappointment. If all you care about is Wireless Carplay do not buy this device, others have a better operating system and are restricted with fewer apps which might make Carplay more effective. Carplay does work but there is a few-second delay between screen touch commands and the response from your phone that will drive you nuts.Setup is truly plug and play, just add your wifi or hotspot login and go. Downloading apps was relatively fast which made it seem like this was going to be an amazing device, and downloads finished in seconds. But the downside started with streaming video. For the first few weeks using this, it worked ok, lots of lag after touch screen commands, and slow to respond and start video in the apps but they did work... eventually. Sometimes I had to force quit and restart apps to get video to play but for the most part, they did work. I used Disney+, Hulu, Prime, NBC Sports, and others and they all worked slowly if I had enough patience to try multiple times to start the video. After about 30-60 days the startup challenges got longer and more frequent, response lags increased, and apps failed and froze more often. I have had it now for 6 months and am completely fed up and ready to throw it in the trash. I looked in the settings to see if maybe there was a software update option and it says the Android OS is up to date.I should add I tried a half dozen other competing products along with this one and they were all worse in some way so unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a better option. Either they blocked the ability to download other apps and were restricted to YouTube/Netflix or had an unfriendly user experience that was too complicated. Maybe someday a reliable and solid product will be made for streaming video in your car but this is definitely not it.

Great product!
Hello,If you're looking to enhance your driving experience and unlock the full potential of your vehicle the Magic Box 2.0 is an absolute must-have. I recently bought the Magic Box 2.0 for long summer road trips and I not disappointed. It was a breeze to set up and immediately start streaming Youtube. It works reliably for long trips with minimal maintenance. I like also that is so small, I did not expect it to pack such a powerful punch. In conclusion this is a wonderful product that my family is excited to use for ski trips, road trips, and any extended time in the car.

Cool idea, useless product.
Not a magic box brand like it is pitched to be. Unit has issues working and have had the issues since I bought. Unit overheats after about 30 minutes of use. Cool idea, useless product.

Dreadfully slow, and doesn’t load well
I owned a different model that was manufactured in 2020. When I purchased a new car, the old model stopped working with the new interface. So I purchased several new ones to see which one will work. This one was dreadful, the reason I’m giving 2 stars is because it actually loaded on the screen, which is more than I can say for some others. But it ran horribly slow, barely loaded some features and completely didn’t load others, this is being with a perfect wifi connection. If anyone is interested, Carlin worked best for me and the one I kept.

Maybe over hyped
First only had 2 days. Setup very easy. Like the over all layout. Not happy with the voice sync with Netflix or YouTube. I have Wi-Fi with may 2022 Silverado and the voice sync is off so I hotspot to phone same thing. So to make sure I put it on my home Wi-Fi same thing. I will play around with it when time permits. I only plan on using to to stream on round trips because my truck came with wireless CarPlay.
