Q: Is the glass shelf adjustable in height up the pole, if not could someone tell me what height it is from the ground? Many thanks.

yes it is adjustable as it is just a loop you attach to pole which has a ledge which you then attach the shelf. this means you can move it to where ever you want on the length of the mail pole.You can even add more than one although buying it as extra is not worth it...hope this helps

I'm sorry, I do not know, you would need to find out about the fixing on monitors, as far as I know this is just for tellys.

Q: Can the cables be secured in a discrete manner?

Hello Linda,if your cable are long enough they can be secured behind the big black pole down the centre but you would need your own fastening eg: cable ties, velcro etc, ours just has a vase of fake flowers in front as we constantly change consoles and computers.Hope this helpsMonica

Hi, I suppose it's down to how big your tv is and how heavy it is, the stand is quite heavy, and I wouldn't think it could be moved from one presentation to another very easy unless you had some help! It's quite easy to lift the tv on to the stand, but I think the stand is meant to be more of a permanent thing. If you live in the Bristol area I have two for sale in my garage. Regards Tony
