Great invention and massive time saver
Since lockdown, we have been working out at home. We have both the short and long bars for variable weights and find that having to constantly spin the nuts take so long especially when my husband doesn't take the weights he used. This is literally just clip on and off and I don't dread changing weights in between workouts anymore. Very sturdy, have had it for a year and they're still going. I'm not worried about the safety aspect as they pretty stay where you put them, they might move a tiny bit if moving the weights with a lot of force eg quick movements but otherwise stays where they are.

Is ok
So so.. i was expecting better form Mirafit. They're plastic, which is fine, but I wish it had a magnet on the side to help keep a tighter fit when mounted. Also, they're a very tight fit on the actual bar rather than a quick in/out. Not a big deal but a little annoying to have to pull/push every time which makes me wonder if the inner for will get damaged in time.

Safe and secure
The collars, so far, are high quality and grip the bar without shifting at all. I have a set of cheap 1" diameter dumbbells I bought from Aldi that were let down by crappy collars. These have made a big difference and I can concentrate on the exercise without worrying it the weight will drop onto my foot/face.The dimensions shown in the picture are incorrect. The width is around 3cms, not 5.1. Which is better as I was concerned that they would be too wide to allow enough weight onto the dumbbell.

Good fit
These fit nice and tight on the bar.

These work really well
I bought one pair to try on both a smooth 1" bar and a threaded 1" bar. After testing I was so impressed I bought another two pairs and it's now so much easier and quicker to change plates.Only downside is the cost - they just seem a tad expensive for what they are.

Do the job!
I bought these to fit a 1" spinlock barbell, as replacing weights with a spinlock half way through a workout was beginning to really frustrate me.On the barbell, they seem to perform well. They're not perfect, by any means, and do slightly allow a bit of movement from the weights, but they're more than enough secure to allow completion of the routine.; and are super quick to take on/off.I haven't used them on a dumbell, and I'm not entirely sure I'd want to with the bar being shorter, but as long as you aren't stacked to the end, and don't mind movement, I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue.

Amazing
Very good piece of equipment initally bought by accident but decided to keep it anyway had no issues with it postage was quick came in a box customer service was really good used it in the gym with 80kg loaded on the bar would recomend this to anyone that is thinking of buying them definatly worth the extra £2 you pay than buying the cheap crappy ones in highstreet retailers

Not great
They turned up with one of the pads detached -- the very brittle glue under it had given way. I thought about just sticking it back in with carpet tape, but having tested the good one, I can say I'd never be able to trust them on a dumbbell - they slide off with 10kg of load. They might be ok on a flat barbell, but for dumbbells they're just not safe. Unlike the spring clips I have, which are rock solid. So I'm not sure why you'd pay the extra over the unbranded ones at half the price....
