Bought this blanket as a backup cuddle/bedtime dark blanket for my pet dove. I cut it down to ‘baby blanket’ size and finished the raw edge.After a wash in the washing machine to clean off leftover pile/fluff that some new blankets have, it turns out that it’s much thicker than his previous baby blanket, which makes it both a great blanket for him to snuggle under with me, but it also blocks out enough light that he sleeps much better than before. It doesn’t seem to be shedding since the initial wash, and my little bird is pleased with his bright pink protector of zzzs
