Great product with easy installation
The delivery was fast. Well packaged. The screws were a little to fiddly and I ended up using different ones as the provided ones did not grip. Otherwise it was very easy to install and no more slipping of the toilet possible.

Brilliant idea! If your wooden loo seat slides to the side give these a try. It's much easier than fitting new hinges and 'feet' and probably more effective. I fitted a set of these stabilizers for my dad about nine months ago and they're still holding nice and firm - it has certainly stopped him moaning about his facilities!

Helped fix the problem
These are great to help the seat stop slipping around. I'd recommend buying 2 packs as once these were installed on the front of my seat, the hinges proved rubbish and the back of my seat could still move about.

Wow!!!
My corner cabinet, which held wine glasses for years, was suddenly emptied and transformed into a display cabinet. Too dark! I'm now diaabled with multiple sclerosis, and easy things are often not now not easy, but often impossible. I didn't relish the idea of wiring lighting because I have little strength and now only some use of one hand, so I looked for a lazy way out - battery operated lights. Looked and looked, but none was suitable and, anyway, I'm a bit of a scrounge when it comes to batteries needing to be replaced. So, with misgivings, I looked for the mains alternative, and saw these. Now then, it took me less than a morning to install these lights, which look really good - I thought they would be too bright, but not so. Just right, and whether they consume 5 watts or 20, the effect is really good.Yes, a wow effect - and if I can set them up with little energy and one hand, then anyone can.I just need some self adhesive brown stickers now to coved the white wire, and it will be brilliant.A great purchase at a good price!

Perfect
Wish I had discovered these before. Should be available in every DIY store. A simple idea that works perfectly. Arrive as a pair, but only needed to use one as my seat only swerved to one side. Most suitable on a wooden seat as it is held in place by 2 small screws, but no idea if they could be super-glued to a plastic one ? Don't really notice it on my white seat, even in the raised position, but if I was the manufacturer I would be advertising these everywhere & churning them out in a whole range of colours. Perfect solution to an old problem.

Brilliant!
This is the second time I have purchased these, the first ones I installed were accidentally thrown away with an old seat. They are easy to install, especially when using the included elastic band, first ones took about 30 minutes but the latest ones took about 10 minutes now that I have the hang of it.My family had gone through toilet seats and hinges at a rate of knots until I spotted this invention and since fitted have had no trouble with seat movement damaging the hinges.I presume that they will only be suitable for solid seats such as wood as they are screw fixed.Thank you to whoever invented these.

Good for some, I suppose
Probably works great on a wooden seat (self-tapping screws etc.). Nowhere in the description is there mentioned "If your toilet seat is made from thermosetting plastic, give this a body-swerve". It looked like the 'pegs' were going to be easy to fit. Well, until the 2mm drill went straight through the seat. Still, no big drama. Just a tiny hole. The problems really started when I tried to tighten the screws gently (with a screwdriver - not a power tool). First, the plastic of the seat around the screw cracked raggedly. Then, the screw SHEARED.In summary, although the best and most elegant solutions are usually the simplest, ONLY fit this to a wooden seat.

Challenging to make it fit
First thing I noticed with my toilet seats is that they had rounded edges under the seat. That presented a problem when attempting to see just where these guides would go.Next problem was to file the guides down to fit the rounded lip of the seat. Then when using the instructions and the supplied rubber bands I found that to be extremely difficult, if not impossible. My next challenge is to use blue tack instead. (I havent done that yet as all that mucking around got me started on putting the toilet seat back into place.. Another nightmare)The project certainly isnt as simple as its made out to be.. so unless you have tools and skills to match leave it alone.. Or do as one frined has done, use selastic (silicon) to glue the seat down.
