There are a lot of options and this one was great for us. Large, easy to read display. Not overly complicated and very happy to see both indoor and outdoor temp and humidity without needing to press any buttons. Hung on bathroom wall so we can easily see what the weather is like when getting dressed for the day. Highly recommend.

Really an odd failure. I received and unpacked the base unit and sensing unit and all looked fine. The size was good and no visible damage. I inserted the batteries and the automatic connection thing worked perfectly. So I picked up the sensing unit, took it outside(~ 30 F) and hung it on the side of the house about 10-15m from the base unit. I was surprised to see that the base unit had lost contact with the sensing unit. I tried re-establishing that connection per the instructions several times without success. A replacement unit is on the way as I really like pretty much everything about this particular unit. Will update when unit #2 arrives.12/17/23 Unit two arrived and worked as advertised and was easy to install and has worked flawlessly for a couple of weeks now. A very minimal amount of programming necessary. The only complaint I have (and it’s pretty minor) is that the display is a little large. I am changing to 5 stars.

I have an old AcuRite weather station with similar features. Basic monochrome graphics battery power Etc. This you're not seems a bit more accurate and definitely better contrast on the display. Since there's 10 years between the units age I guess some improvements are to be expected. Also cheaper than the old unit. The barometric pressure trend indicator doesn't seem to change. Time was automatically picked up and daylight savings time changed without intervention.

We really like that it is battery operated, and can be located anywhere, without being tied to an outlet or looking at a cord hanging down the wall. Large numbers are easy to read. Seems to be accurate, both indoor and outdoor temps.

Works as a clock but the forecast function is useless. Indoor and outdoor temperatures are less then a degree off. It snowed yesterday and the forecast has been on sunny since I received it several days ago. Easy to ready across the room while it is sitting on a shelf. If forecast was working it would be 5 star. The day light saving feature and auto search does not connect. It just flashes showing it is looking for signal. That feature is off and may be why forecast does not work. Also has an alarm to inform if temp outside drops to a certain degree or rises to a set temp as well. Mine did not beep it just flashed but without looking I would not have known it was below freezing outside. It is not terrible to not be alerted but when it comes to winter temps and knowing it is below freezing but not being alerted defeats the purpose of buying this model clock.
