Perfect, label maker up and running again. I was a dummy and left the batteries in my Brother label maker and they leaked of course. Corroded the contacts and even with cleaning them up I think it may have gotten into the wires some. Anyway batteries were not powering it on and I thought all was lost. I knew it had a AC adapter jack on it rated at 9VDC, I tried everything I had out of the junk drawer (you know you have one too) some fit, right voltage and polarity but still no power. Off to Amazon, typed in model and ordered, 2 days later I am labeling the contents of all my junk drawers.

My P-touch 200 was getting new batteries every two days (I use it a lot to print labels for not only my jewelry making supplies but also for the tags on the items for sale). So I had a virtual sink hole of money going into batteries. When it had given me the dreaded "DEAD BATTERIES" warning in the middle of printing a label I needed that day, knew it was time to figure out something new. Found this insanely well priced adapter on Amazon, checked compatibility, ordered, the next day it showed up and I have never looked back. The cord is delightfully long, sturdy (good quality) and it worked the first time and every single time I've needed it. I wish I would have ordered this months ago, love having it!!

A must have with your P Touch label maker. Saves on batteries

I am beyond thrilled to have this adapter for my P-Touch pt-d200! I love that label maker and I've labeled like a mad woman for the last month, but it EATS batteries, even when turned off! Good batteries aren't cheap, so I had to remove 1 battery every time I finished making a label to keep them from being drained. Then I bought rechargeable but still had to remove one so I didn't have to charge them every few days.. This adapter has a long cord and is very well made so for less that 8 bucks I won't be replacing or charging 6 AAA every 3 days ever again. :)

Charger is a perfect fit for the ptouch model PT-200, the power supply is designed with the positive and negative in the right order for this model. Had no problems with it.
