Needed the TSA007 key as a back up in case the combi lock on our suitcase got damaged. Works perfectly on the lock (only requires a quarter turn though, so don't force it further or you risk damaging the lock or the key). Seems sturdy enough to last repeated use. Second key handy to have in case we get a case with the other lock number.It does beg the question as to how secure these locks are though if anyone can obtain the keys....

Case was opened by US customs so stopped working. Just open all the time. Ordered this key and can reset combinationThough does make me wonder about the overall security. Surely anyone could just buy ones of these and override the locks

Useful to have these. I had not realised luggage cases essentially have a universal key lock for Customs and the like. I had forgotten my code. The key opened the case and saved the day. However, this does not allow you to re-set the lock. So, if you want to continue to use the numerical lock you will need to laboriously go though all 1000 possible combinations. Worth trying 000 in case you never re-set it from the factory setting and then numbers you have used for codes elsewhere. If that all fails just go through them from 000 to 999 systematically. It is laborious but you will get there.

...if the combination is forgotten, although the free availability of these somewhat deprecates the very purpose of such security locks.

Found a locked suitcase clearing out some items and after trying all passcodes I could think of and all lock picking tactics online. I caved and bought this key.Worked straight away!
