Gizmo DorksPLA Filament for 3D Printers 1.75mm 200g, 4 Color Pack - Black, Grey, Transparent, White

My main complaint is with the design of this spool. It isn't visible from the pictures, but the spool is held together by 2 pieces of plastic which come together at a crease, rather than lying flat; see the pictures I've taken for a better view). This results in the spool teetering back and forth on the spool holder, which leads to it unraveling itself quickly. Additionally, due to the small interior radius, the filament is wound very tight, and becomes increasingly brittle as you move towards the center.The color of Gizmodork filament is not as bold as other filaments I've used; they tend to be softer / lighter than expected; the "white" ended up being more of a vanilla or cream color. Overall, if you're just looking for a small amount of filament, and you aren't concerned with things like bold colors or ease of use, this sample pack is fine. However, I would recommend other companies like AIO Robotics or Hatchbox if you want better quality.

I am not sure why other people are having problems printing with this PLA. I have had nothing but perfect prints every time. 225 hotend 75 bed on buildtak comes out perfect. Set up is a Frankenstein davinci pro, duet WiFi board, buildtak magnetic bed, real E3d gold hotend, 600 watt evga power supply. Software simplified3d, fusion 360 yearly subscriber. If your having problems printing I would send gizmodorks a message to see if they can help. Every single print within their product lines has came out great. This print is 0.30 layer height, 4000mm/min speed, 20% infill, 225 hotend, 75 bed.

I ordered this color pack as I had never purchased any Gizmodorks products before. I have only used the black and white so far, but they have printed great! I am only printing relatively small pieces on a MP Select mini, but they look amazing. No bumps, pocks or anything. Great bed adhesion as well. The only complaint I have so far is the construction of the spool itself. There is a ridge that is on the inside of the spool that makes it sit slanted on my the holder. It has no effect on printing so far, but it is mildly annoying to see the spool on an angle. :)

This stuff has been ruining my prints, testing my ability to diagnose an issue and destroying nozzles. My extruder will grind and click when this "PLA" is loaded. I tried all kinds of settings and changes, the bottom line is its junk. Do yourself a favor and buy from the known companies that produce superior products.

I have used the white, Grey, and clear filament so far. The white and grey printed like a dream with no problems. Sad thing being I bought this set of filament in particular because of the clear filament. I cannot get it to print one decent print. It is brittle and doest form well, print that look great in the white or Grey filament, won't print in the clear filament with the same settings, had tried adjusting the temps and that didn't seem to help at all, wonder if I just got a bad roll by chance? Very dissatisfied sense I bought this set mainly for that filament. Will more than likely try different brand next time. So sad sense the price was great and the others seemed to work so well.

Would not recommend this all four rolls would not print at all tried several different settings wasted all four rolls could not get a successful print one but the Amazon basic film it works great

Gizmo Dorks brand filament is the best I’m able to get my hands on for such a great price. Purchased many times and consistently is the best filament out there.

This is some of the best PLA I've used. Prints very smooth and easily at 210c nozzle / 45c bed. Using a monoprice maker select v2.1
