This author's books just get better with each one. Edgeof the Wild is a brilliant addition to the Drake Chronicles, I'm loving the over-arching story shared between so many characters I have come to know and love, and Gilley has the knack of not leaving me hanging (though I'm always chomping for more of her books, so there's that).The worldbuilding is done to perfection, rich and dramatic without ever bogging down the story and as always fantastic characters. A word of warning, this is not a standalone and must be read in order.This is becoming one of my all time favourite fantasy series, Gilley is Gold!

An absolute shower of golden stars for this one. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The storyline is thoroughly engrossing, the world building terrific, the characters amazing, and the treachery? Well, let's just say I did see that one coming, but let's hope he gets his comeuppance later in the series. Love how everything is weaving together and yes, there be DRAGONS 🐲🐲!! Could've done without all the typos and errors to be honest, but when the story's this good, who cares really?? Nali's story Blood of Wolves up next later this year.

Generally I am not a fan of this genre but I’ve found this series quite entertaining so far. Very excited for book 3, hope it comes out soon!
